Time to post my timeline for your voyeuristic ogling.

Also, guys, here's a trick/tip. Buy one of those self-created stamps from Office-Max or other office supply store. You can create you won word/phrase. In this case, NVC case number. Then you can quickly stamp that on everything. Plus, this stamp can be used over and over again. I picked up one from Office-Max for $30. It was the cheapest one with enough character to do the NVC case number.

Good luck to everyone. And congrats to everyone who moved up at least a step on this ladder. We're on the home stretch now.

I'm emailing my wife the DS230 form. Since I'm going to be filling out the form on her behalf, I told her to just print the page that needs her signature. And ship it to me. Three days, FedEX express. Someone go over the IV package item one more time. Oh for everyone's fyi, following are my final AOS package.

  • Bar-coded cover sheet
  • This cover letter
  • Completed and signed form I-864EZ
  • IRS account transcript for 2009, 2008, and 2007
  • IRS tax return transcript for 2009, 2008, and 2007
  • Tax return for 2009, including W2, 1099INT, 1098E, 1099DIV
  • Employment verification letter
  • Bi-weekly paystubs for 2010
  • Copy of petitioner’s passport

Sending both types of transcripts plus the 2009 tax return is overkill. I couldn't only inluded the account transcripts and be fine with that alone. But since I have it all, I shipped them all. Express mailed it with return receipt. They should have it by tomorrow noon.

Indigo- I will try again: I'm sure you have already thought of this but in case you haven't: Have your wife print out 2 copies of the page she needs to sign, just in case there is a mistake and they want a whole new DS-230. :innocent:

Good luck to everyone.

Welcome to the new comers!

Just curious, guys.

I've noticed in people's signature timelines that when their AOS and/or IV packages are received by the NVC, they are signed by a "J. Desmond" or some other persons name.

Mine were signed for by "National Visa Center" via a stamp that was on the delivery confirmation. Does this matter? Does anyone else have this experience? My concern is that it's not a person signing for it but some generic mail intake process that might delay my package being applied to my case in a reasonable timeframe.

Thoughts anyone?

Debby- Did you send yours by USPS or FEDEX or UPS? I think that changes who "signs" for it. The mail room is who receives the packages first anyway. Then they move them around from there. I had that issue when I sent to the Chicago Lockbox. I had a round stamp on mine b/c I sent it UPSP but many other people had actual people who signed for it.

I sent my package via USPS Express overnight mail.

Yikes...I think I AM stressing too much!
