NVC FILERS - FOR October - 2010

Okay so I have my 864 packet ready to go just waiting on the payment portal to say "PAID" and print the barcode sheet out, but I'm worried about sending this off without receiving an email yet from NVC with the official instructions and 3032 kit. Has anyone sent their AOS packet out before this without a problem??

@koaxaca1: The choice of agent from is NOT RELATED to your AOS package. When you send the DS-3032 it is for the IV bill (so it can be generated ). The AOS and DS-3032/IV are two separated processes in the same pot. Might want to see here: NVC Process Flowchart Someone correct me if I am wrong... Good luck!

@Kim: I know we haven't seen you in a while but when you read this - I hope bebe is feeling better now and gets well soon! "Wishful thinking"..

Update: Our joint sponsor package was FedEx-ed on Monday to the USEM in Sofia and SHOULD be here by Thursday! Like my FIL said: "I feel like I bought it a plane ticket! Someone will be sitting on that airplane with a FedEx pack next to him and will be thinking: #######?? "

Our update,

I have just completed the I-864 packet and it is ready to be sent off overnight mail tomorrow,

but I just want to make sure I am not missing anything or sending too much.

My packet includes:

I-864 Cover Letter

Form I-864 signed and dated

Document Cover Sheet

AOS Fee Payment Receipt

2007; 2008 and 2009 Federal Tax Returns

Letter of Employment

Pay stubs from the recent six months

Am I missing anything? Please help

On the Letter of Employment do I need to send the original, a copy or both?

Do I need to send an additional copy of the whole packet?

1. The BARCODED COVER SHEET from the payment portal

2. I don't think you need to send the receipt tho - even, if I'm not wrong, on the invoice we got in the e-mail from NVC said specifically DO NOT SEND RECEIPT OF THE PAYMENT (will check that tho, in my little immigration records HELL! )

3. As far as I know - the NVC requires originals, but you can include a copy of the original and they can be given back at the interview... tho I never got hubz W2s back, but they are easily retrievable!

4. NB!: Make sure that position/title is the same on the employment letter and the I-864

OK, this is what it says:

6. DO NOT send fee payments to the National Visa Center's Portsmouth, New Hampshire facility.

This will DELAY the processing of your visa petition.

So, I would suggest not to send the AOS Fee Payment Receipt ...

Loto - I think JD senior is in India. If I remember correctly, he mentioned he was going to India for 20 odd days so must b enjoying time with his wife.

As For me going back for her interview, no I wont be.. I m Going back For a month starting Thanksgiving so if she gets the interview date in December great or else She will b coming to US alone

My DS3032 fee is still in process. But my bank account has put a hold on $88 today. So it should be sucked out of my account today. Make sense. Takes two business days. I paid it last Saturday night.

Still no AOS. My wife only sent an email DS3032 10 days ago? I think it's about time we should send a physical DS3032 pdf. But we haven't received any emails from NVC yet.

I wanted a sample filled-in physical DS3032 pdf. Does anyone have it? Or can you open up one of the DS3032 and fill in the blanks for moi? Thanks.

IS my payment also took 2 days to show paid and then we got the email with DS-3032 the day after that. It coming your way soon. The emailed DS-3032 has the bar code on it
