Hello October NVC'ers! Here is a question to all you who have dealt with the DS-260. Has anyone had any problem accessing it once your IV was paid? I can't access it at all. I called NVC and a supervisor told me they were going to look into it for me, but to wait for a week. Argh! A week more of waiting? I was flying until this hiccup. Blah!

The sad thing is, I have all my DS-230 documents ready and scanned. So this is a week's delay over being able to email it in...

Anyway, hope we are all having less fun with NVC than I am!

Who has a sample DS3032 form? Just want to cross check it. Exmaple Forms on VJ doesn't have a DS3032. Help a brothah out, yo.

Do you think that both our case will be completed and closed before the middle of Nov?

Where's senior brother? Did he disappear after mailing all the packages to NVC?

Yet another 864 question - Sponsor's household size. It says not to count anyone twice, but then it says if you are currently married, to enter '1' for your spouse. But it I do that, my wife WILL be counted twice. Grr. Contradictory instructions within the form - what to do?

Enter 0 for your spouse. Then total it - no more double count. I did like that.

This form is very generalized, that's why the confusion

I hope it gets done by Nov 12-15 with a checklist for the pcc in my case. December interview would be crazy but would Love it. Expecting January date caz of Mumbai consulate being really busy.

Recently I saw that Chennai is also taking 2+ months. It is really tight to get in Dec

Let's hope to get in December. I have one week furlough during Christmas time, and I'll be idle here otherwise. On the other hand, tickets are damn expensive in Dec - currently it is running $2K to $2.5K for a round trip. Anyway, I have to go to India.

Are you going to India during her interview? I think you made a trip recently.

NVC is joke - I just got an email - NVC received the immigrant visa fee, please send the immigrant visa application

It looks like their email correspondence takes a week, then how about snail mail - months

Okay so I haven't receive my ds 3032 kit yet BUT I got my IIN number from the operator and was able to make my AOS payment online. It's currently in process. I found out that they have my last name spelled wrong on the online link there. How do I get them to change this? Call them, email them?? And is it normal to be able to pay your AOS bill before receiving the kit? Oh well I did it so hopefully I can just send the 864 packet soon without the email and cross my fingers that there's no problems. Anyone been able to do this without the emailed ds 3032 kit for the AOS part? Not the 230 i know they need the 3032 to be accepted here first. Thanks!

AOS package can be mailed out with its own barcode sheet.

To correct name, email or mail is fine with the supporting documents such as passport or birth certificate copy.

IV fee invoice will be generated only if DS-3032 is accepted.

Thanks Loto :-) When you scanned/signed the DS 3032 did the pdf file sent in the email kit already have a barcode on it for you? Or do you have to generate it yourself (cut/paste) using the tips found on LingChe's shortcuts??

I think I replied earlier in this thread.

1) Emailed DS-3032 first immediately after NVC Case# receipt

2) Mailed hard copy of DS-3032 without barcode, but wrote NVC and CIS Case#

3) Emailed scanned DS-3032 again which has barcode in it (provided by NVC as part of AOS & IIN email)

In fact, one method is enough, just sent multiple times to accelarate the IV fee generation. And it did with AOS invoice, in fact 2 hours after AOS fee invoice.

I had to fill in the DS-260, it is an entirely different website to access than the fee invoice website.
