Its def good. Its a bit faster the only complaint I have is the lack of communication between those who chose to do it and the NVC. Most of the Reps don't know what it is. So you kinda just go on faith lol

Thats crappy...thats what I kinda feel with the DS-260. We are esentially a guinea pig for this form, since its only been into effect since Oct 4 and with 7 Consulates involved. I printed off the regulations to become familiar with them, in case they have a problem with what we sent in the package.

Met in 2004 at a Dave Matthews Band concert, started dating November 2005, engaged February 2009 and married November 14, 2009. Together in the US on March 19th 2011

CR-1 journey

USCIS: (170 days)

2010-03-27: I-130 sent

2010-09-23: NOA2

NVC: (93 days)

2010-10-06: NVC Case Number assigned

2011-01-05: SIF and Case Completion!

2011-02-15: Medical in Toronto

2011-03-07: Interview approved (335 days from NOA1)

2011-03-10: Passport received

2011-03-19: POE - Buffalo, NY

2011-03-28: SSN received

2011-03-31: USCIS Welcome

2011-04-05: Conditional Green Card received

I got our NVC case number today... I'm super siked! I just sent in DS-3032 form info. Hopefully the NVC will accept my choice of agent even though I so impatiently sent in the DS-3032 info. Has this worked for many of you guys? I'm asking cause from what I understand this method of assigning an agent is not always accepted byt the NVC... or am I mistaking?

I did the same thing as you and it was accepted. I didnt get any emails confirming it but was able to pay IV bill. I think you should be ok.

Just a little update,

My AOS payment of $88.00 was debited from my account today but it is still showing as processing on the website.

I called NVC and spoke with a live person. I was told that their system takes a few days to update 3 business days. Since I had them on the phone I asked if the DS-3032 needs to be printed out and mailed to them by my hubby (beneficiary) because he emailed it in to them and she said NO as long as he received the auto response that they received it we are fine....

I then asked about the income requirements. I let her know that based on 3 people in the household I do not qualify for 2008 because my income was a just a little under 20K but for 2009 and 2010 I am well over the requirement. I asked if I needed a co-sponsor and she said that I did not need one because I just needed to meet the income requirement for 2009.

No once you send them the email version and the IV bill shows up, you are all set. The beneficiary doesn't need to fill it out again. The email version is attached to your case number.

Yeeeeeey, Congratulations :dance:

It is fine to email DS-3032 now. In most cases, it will be accepted. But if you see a delay to generate IV invoice more than 5 days after AOS invoice, email a scanned & signed DS-3032 by the beneficiary to NVC at that point of time.

LOTO Buddy. quick question. I am just figuring out the VFS office visit thing. I am reading the information/documents that VFS needs and it seems to be the same as what we submitted to NVC. Does that get forwarded to VFS and we submit anything else that is missing. Like the medical, Passport office pcc, the fees etc. Just wondering.
