I got my nvc # and I just gave the operator our email addresses, and she told me that they've sent out the packages. Can I email the DS-3032 now?

Hi Loto, or anyone else who might be able to help, I have a weird one, or at least it is freaking me out.

I gave our email addresses to NVC yesterday. Previously, September 30, I sent an email inquiry to the NVC email address asking for the NVC and IIN numbers.

Yesterday, my wife sent in the DS-3032 via email.

Tonight, I got an email back providing me with that info, and stating:

"This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, beneficiary, and/or attorney of record will receive further instructions regarding the processing of this petition."

Since I now have the IIN, I went to sign in to try to pay the bills. I do successfully sign in, and see our info. However, payment status for both items is "NOT INVOICED" and I cannot select either button to make a payment.

Anyone know what the heck is going on????

Got the Nvc case number and I was told the sent out packages so I emailed the DS3032.

I found that asking questions via the email for NVC was a joke. It taks a long time and the response doesnt always answer your question. Not Invoices is what everyone see until your case is ready for payment. Items are not invoiced until they are fully loaded into the system. Keep Checking the pay online site and they will soon allow you to pay them. Also you should call NVC and ask them to explain just incase. I feel you will be able to pay online in a day or so. YOu will not get both ready for payment at the same time. Just hang in there, keep checking and call them too.

Why are some people getting their IIN the next day and others aren't? If we mailed out DS3032 email on a weekend, does that factor into this? We emailed ours on Sunday. No response yet. It's Wednesday now. Should have my wife email it again today?

here's my situation: my case was expedited at NVC, when the expedite was approved, my docs (DS230 package and AOS package) were already on their way to NVC! therefore they have sent my file to the embassy without these IMPORTANT DOCS!! I have been calling NVC, and different operators told me that whatever is sent to NVC will be forwarded to the Embassy! BUT, they also said that it doesnt show on the system that they have received the docs!! so the docs must be in the mailroom still!! I'm very sure of that since USPS tracking shows that the docs were delivered by Oct 12th and Oct 15th!!! I want to get in touch with the MAILROOM SUPERVISOR or something! can any one help me get an email address or anything?? this is urgent! please help if you can

Any word on why some people get IIN in a day and other's get it in a week or more?

Most people get their NVC Case# few days or a week after, actually the NVC Case# is generated and when they listen to AVR or to the operator. That's really not their NVC Received date. For them, when they contact NVC again, IIN will be ready. In fact, for them too, IIN generation takes at least 1 week after the "actual" NVC Case# generation.

In my case NVC Case# was generated on 10/8 and I received it on the same day from the operator. If I had talked to the operator on 10/15 instead of 10/8, I will think NVC case receipt is 10/15 and I got IIN on 10/18.

NVC Case# format is - CCCYYYYDDDSSS where

CCC is 3 letter Consulate abbreviation

YYYY - 2010 - current calendar year

DDD - Julian date. In my case 10/8 means 781 (500+281st day)

SSS - Sequence# on this calendar day

Now you got my NVC Case# - MDR2010781SSS. But I won't tell you SSS

About that, my wife called last friday and talked to an operator, and they told her the number was not generated yet, and even if it would, they wouldn t be able to give it to her over the phone! they also said they would send it by mail and not e mail, even though she provided both e mails adresses...that s #######, right?
