Oh, Loto, how does USCIS communicate the IIN number with moi? Do I have to call and ask them for it? Or will they email it. I just called NVC and asked for Invoice Identification Number but the lady said it's not ready it. She said they'll email the DS3032 kit and then we'll know the IIN. Have I called too early? Should I call this Friday? Tell us, oh great one!

I got email yesterday evening with AOS instructions and IIN with DS-3032 form and instructions. Immediately, paid the AOS fee. Bugged the wife to wake up, sign this new DS-3032, scan it and email to NVC. After an hour of this email, another email popped up from NVC about DS-3032 acceptance with IV package details. Immediately, I paid the IV fee too.

That's it! Now both are IN PROCESS and AOS fee has been cleared from the bank.

The reason why I am rushing all these is to get a Dec end interview (hopefully!), since I have one week furlough at work.

I see. Your IIN took 9 days from the day you emailed DS3032. I hope I get mine this week. InshaAllah.

Is it absolutely necessary to email the signed 'n' scanned DS3020 again? Does't NVC already have it from the initial email already?

They have initial email copy. But if they forget to attach it with the NVC case, the IV fee invoice generation will take longer time. It may or may not happen, but I didn't want to take a chance.

Watch out email and I think you should have it in few days time before this Friday.

"Your IIN took 9 days from the day you emailed DS3032" - IIN generation is irrespective of DS-3032 email.

Called USEM they said expedite request is approved just waiting for the file and I can call them and schedule an interview as soon as they get the file from NVC.

Thats good new! Better start working on the Medical now as that takes 2 days to complete. Good Luck.

I was watching TV while sitting at my laptop last Thursday night, when I noticed an email from the NVC. It was my IIN and AOS invoice, so I immediately went online and paid the AOS and sent the DS-3032, since I hadn't heard anything regarding the email format. The fee status updated to PAID yesterday at the 3pm EST update, so I downloaded the AOS cover sheet. At the 8pm EST update, I logged into the payment page and noticed that the IV payment was ready to be paid. I hadn't received the IV invoice, but I paid it anyway. Still haven't received the IV invoice.

I went home and emailed the AOS packet.

I called this morning and the AVR told me that they had received the DS-3032. I didn't have time to talk to a human, since I spent half an hour trying to get through and had to go to work, so I just got the notification of receipt of the DS-3032. Wondering when the IV information is going to show up, or the notification that they have accepted the DS-3032...

In the meantime, they are content to take my money.

Toni- I would call and see what the AVR says each day and yes bug them. If you wait for them to contact you, it might be a while. This is the stage where you can call and be more productive. The next thing they will tell you is 6-8 weeks for correspondence. Luckily that isn't the case. Some things seem to take 2 weeks or less (except for when waiting for the SIF...which is around 3 weeks lately).

Whew! I thought things move along quickly at the NVC but there's always that feeling that you're missing something when you're in this situation Thank you for the reasurance!

Do they email he IIN to beneficiary's email or the petitioner's email? I'm assuming to both.

Hi Toni_Sh: The same things happened to me! One day one operator says you may as well wait 6-8 weeks before you call back, and THE NEXT DAY when I Called back we got our case #, they asked for our email addresses and we were on our way. Definitely call each day and be proactive! Good luck!
