Kim that's great news!!! So glad you are done with NVC!!! too bad about November been full but I'm sure a December interview for sure... Congrats!!!!

Thanks Emily! I sure hope so.. I wanted a November interview so bad 'coz of all the occasions, like my birthday, our anniversary, and my husband's birthday.. But a December interview will still be ok. Can't wait to get all these over with! NVC, GOODBYE! :dance: :dance::dance:

Kim- Woo hoo!!! :dance: :dance: :dance::thumbs: :thumbs: Congrats on the SIF!!!! Any date on the rescheduled interview for yourself?

Mrs. D.-I can't help anyone with my AOS experience really. All I did was wait and fret and worry and ponder moving everything to Peru a half dozen times and mapping out all of the details. Not very useful to anyone :P But thank you :)

Tom- Yeah. I looked over his paperwork, even though we went through the packet line for line and I told him what to put where. It kinda sucks though because I will have to write a note to NVC saying that while he is married and filed jointly...I am only using his income (even though they make you put the couple's total). Luckily I have his W2's so they can figure it out (I hope!). He also sent me other papers that were filed which has me wondering if I should send them or not. I know that technically I don't need to send all of his junk in but I'd hate to get an RFE for it. Off to explore the VJ site for sure. :wacko:

Rich- That is too bad to hear. I hope it is something that they will just let you bring to the interview stage. Could it be the same issue as Kevin?

We still have many hurdles to over come but hopefully we will continue to move in the right direction. :star:

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Mine will be full of copying paperwork and going over my lovely package to send it out on Monday from work. I'm not looking forward to the bill though... :wacko:

Thanks Teya! No, nothing yet. I will call USCIS tom, hopefully I will get some updates. The IO told me 1 week, but it's been 2 weeks today and I haven't gotten any calls from them yet (like they said they'll do).

Just thought I'd share: Today's medical = PASSED! :dance: and it only cost me 61$.. :dance: Now trying not to loose my sanity by Thursday! :bonk:

Hi everyone! Apparently I forgot to click on "watch topic" because I am VERY behind on these posts! Anyways just wanted to share that today our IV showed as "Paid" and I emailed off my DS-230 etc packet. It occurs to me- do I need to mail it too or does the email suffice? I feel very lucky to be able to use the email that's for sure! Oh also, can anyone give me a rough estimate of how long this step takes before we hear back from them?

oops I just remembered to look at the EZ Guide that our wonderful Loto provided... 2 weeks roughly for this review, then I wait for interview. Or, perhaps I can schedule that myself now according to the Canadian forum I read...? And, I wonder if it's bad that I sent my IV packet/DS230 stuff before receiving instructions? Hope not! (I did attach the cover page).

Just wanted to check in with everyone and let you know that we are still around. Had to put things on hold for about a month because of my school. Sending off my wife's IV Fee payment on Thursday. So we can finish this process by January. Hope everyone is having no issues with NVC. Will update more later as we hear back from on the process with the NVC.

Did you staple EVERYTHING together? I put paperclips on each set of documents (ie. paystubs together, I-864 together, etc..) Just wondering how picky they are about this stuff...

I stapled them. I read on the link provided on the receipt of AOS bill that was paid and it said staple it so did That.

So I just called NVC this morning and gave them my wife and my email address. I guess I should have asked for the IIN but I have to mail the DS230 for my wife to sign since I caught a mistake in the one I had her sign while I was home (am like Homer, dooo.

Do I now have to wait for the NVC to send us email? They assigned the number yesterday.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are all done. Thank you all for all of the help and support throughout the process. This has truly been an experience I never want to go through again. My wife had her interview yesterday and got her passport stamp today. Not much of an interview. Literally just got fingerprinted and signed the DS-230. We were so worried about the interview, but in the end it was very simple. Good luck to everyone.
