Wow! I can't thank you guys enough here at VJ..very detailed step by step guide to hopefully breeze through my journey here... i do have few question though, once DS3032 emailed by my spouse on the next step where DS230 packet gets mailed out, do i still need to send all the originals and part II filled out ? as the consulate in Nepal follows standard processing... I have photocopies of all the documents except medical, and police record. If i need to submit all below then i better start collecting them.

* Original/Certified Passport Office Police Certificate for Beneficiary and a copy

* Original/Certified Police Clearance Certificate and a copy

Thanks,

In the future, I'd appreciate a response such as yours to be sent as a personal message. I would be doing the same to you right now if you accepted them. If you truly wanted the public to read your opinions on posting etiquette then you should have started a different thread for it. Look, I appreciate your advise on the visa process; however I do not appreciate your belittling comments on how you feel one should operate in a forum. I say belittling because you tend to write in a very know-it-all tone which works better when you're using the language of facts; however this does not work in the language of opinion. It makes you look pompous & tactless. We are all adults here, I'm assuming, and as such everyone deserves the same level of respect. There is no need for you to voice your assumptions of why ppl are doing this & that. If you really want to know, ask the source, don't ever assume. You will find that most people are well intentioned and there is no 'dis-service' intentionally being done to anybody in regards to where we are posting. And if someone really got hurt in the process I'm sure it would be apologized for when pointed out. But seriously there's no need to use belittling words like 'infantile,' that's pretty harsh. Anyways, it seems that whatever I said got to you on a personal note and like I said in the beginning here, these matters should be voiced to me and me alone if that was indeed the case. I apologize for my assumption of you not congratulating Kruz. It just appeared that way at the beg. of the thread. If you have a response to this please send me a personal message. And I apologize to anyone who's reading this but I did warn you and mark it 'off topic.' :P

Wow can't we all just get along. I don't care where i post as long as my petition is approved. we are all in the same boat here and all getting frustrated so please refrain from bad comments or opinions that is not necessary. we are all grateful for everyone that helps us during this process because to be married and not to be with our loved ones is very hard for anyone. Divorce rate is very high and we are all here to be supportive to one another and not to opinionate against each other. so please stick to the thread here. i thank you all for your support and help throughout. i will shout some names out and we all can agree. Loto and darnell your knowledge and wisdom has helped me tremendously and Kevin has been helpful throughout this process with messages and a few others so please let's just stay focused please.

Update (because it is Sunday and I said I would): The uncle makes enough alone so while he filed married, I will just be going off of his I-864. If they require the aunt's info then I will find out and have her sign that when she gets back in town (next month). He said that he would fill it out tonight and I have tried calling but no answer. So I will try again tomorrow. Looking ok so far.

I have a question. What is the process to set up so that all bills come to me (petitioner) but the paperwork packets go to the huz (beneficiary)?

When prompted for a change of agent, should we do that or no? I mean, he's in DR, I'm in the US, so he needs the papers to fill out there. On the other hand, I'm footing the bill...so...what does that mean? Or are all the bills payable over the internet?
