DIRECTV installation guy(now onwards - Guy): Knock, Knock, Knock, hey this is DIRECTV installation guy! It looks like snow is melted today and we are able to install your dish!

Noise from inside (now onwards, couple's voice, aka CV) : What the heck? Don't you read the sign "Do not disturb!" :devil:

Guy: Yes mam, I did. But I don't come this way until next week :innocent:

CV: Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Guy, Do you prefer to watch the actions live or recorded?

CV: What do you mean?

Guy: We have some pay per channels with some hot actions, it will spice up your day :innocent: But remember, children under 18 are not allowed to watch it!

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

Well, it's a gosh darn miracle....called NVC this morning....same sh!t....here I am, writing out invites for my son's birthday party, and get a call from my hubby 10 minutes ago, ummmmm honey, just tried to sign into the portal, and I think it is SIF.....sure enough, it was. So I called NVC, and finally get the news....

SIF AND CASE CLOSED!! Interviews are being scheduled for March.....she said to call back by the third week of the month to see if we made march interview...you think we will make march?!?!?! Our family goal was for him to be here by my baby sister's wedding april 16....there might be a chance now!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

I have been checking flight prices for march and april...

So far if I schedule 15 days in advance, I can get a good price.

So I will wait as long as I can this month hoping for Interview date.

If we do not get a date news by March 1, I will have to schedule my flight for last

of March and 2 weeks in April. With China may be months before an Interview, and then may be in 2 weeks, who knows. Hard to schedule a trip........
