I wonder why the cost for medicals vary so much? $61 bucks is a forth of what it cost in PI and that's a poor country ... Just doesn't make sense to me. :blink::wacko:

Thanks Tom! :) Idk why it varies either (believe me - we are not much rich-er! :P) Maybe cos medical coverage is really good in BG and they just charge us a little extra.. :unsure: Make sure ur wife has her medical records cos that did MAGIC for me and saved me about 100$!!! :thumbs:

@asad: Yes, once you give NVC ur e-mails they will (at least they should) communicate with you via e-mail! Just make sure they wrote them down correctly! :P Congrats on ur progress! :thumbs:

I made a reservation with an agency cos I found one ticket that was only 600$ (with an additional 20kg suitcase!!!) but I haven't paid for it yet cos I want to see what the result is from the interview (hopefully all is well! :) ) Hope all is well with ur dox and you're able to send them out today!!! :thumbs::innocent:

A week should be more than enough. Just start checking the online pay portal once you have your IIN & NVC #. When they have a bill ready for you to pay that will be your next step. Till then its wait and wonder.

My wife just had her annual physical preformed at her work on Friday. So she spoke to her cousin and he is going to get her copies of the results to take with her to the VISA Medical Center. Hope it helps but I know the cost will be the same. They can have the $ just give us favorable results... Cost for medical in PI are so cheap. A Doctor Visit cost me about $4 and I was in the hospital once for 4 days in a private room with antibiotic IVs and the total came to $500. I think they charge what they do because they can. Simple as that. There is also only 1 approved facility in Manila.

Tom- I hear ya on the inexpensive medical treatment. I had my baby in Peru at a place that was deemed kind of spendy (to the people in my husband's neighborhood) for under $300. No way would that've happened here (unless I had full coverage under medicaid). The silly thing is...his medical will be near $300 if not more. :wacko:

It feels like Friday to me but luckily it is only Monday. So much good could come out of this week for everyone here! AWESOME!

How are you doing with the NVC? I know you have experience, but just checking up on you! ;)

Those NVC "gentleman/woman" screwed up my DOB while entering into NVC system. It is very hard to pass through those "nice" customer reps since the wrong answer (DOB) to their initial questions. However, I have managed somehow through another set of customer reps to bypass this. And was able to provide both email ids, get NVC Case# etc. Hopefully, they will fix it by this week since I sent email and express mail of the DOB correction package last week.

Yeah, I can't wait to hear that good news on this Thursday :dance: :dance: :dance: Hear us the great news for the fireworks!
