yup agree w/ M_B but do it whn u feel like life is boring not whn bhabhi comes. Otherwise, bhabhi will think fb is your wife rather than her. lol. my hubby has 2 cells i tell him get rid of both of em once he is here.

BTW, (since you started the topic of cell phone, it reminded me smth) what is the best way (or should I say cheapest way?) to get a new cell phone line for wife?

Options:

1. Add wife under my existing T-mobile plan? (don't know the price)

2. Get other providers (there are few in the market like MetroPcs, boost mobile etc.)

Guys, lots of you would have done so when your spouse came here to join you. Any suggestion will be appreciated :D

Here is my 2 cents, Malvika :star: But it is just my cell phones plan. May not be suitable to all who live in different places of the U.S. I would not wonder if Indigo tells he likes to use his dad's line to call his wife, just kidding :P

Mine is Verizon. I added her in my current plan and switched to family plan with a cost of $10 per month. Since we didn't want expensive gadgets, we opted a free phone and signed up an year contract again. We don't have data plans, just voice plan only for 700 minutes. My plan is $60 per month, but with my prior employer discount, it comes to $48 without taxes.

I think all the carriers provide free minutes to the same carrier, like verizon.

I would recommend buy metro pcs plan for both of you..ANROID is only $79.99..Very good service..you could do pretty much everything on it..only $99 per month for family plan with international free calling :star:

That was a wise decision Loto. As I said I am with T-mobile and I think I also can upgrade my plan to family plan and add my wife for another few dollars per month.

I have been T-mobile loyal customer since last 5 yrs. and so far I like the service and reception is not that bad too. I have unlimited internet for which I am paying extra $20 and the voice plan is for $ 39.99 for 500 mins. Since I do not make calls during the weekdays I think 500 will be more than enough to share between two of us. Thanks Loto :D

Yes, it's like NY Lotto (Loto?). You have won the game coz you live in NY and you're Loto :D which is NY Lotto :D

And yes, March VB should come out on Feb 10 or 11. Can't wait to hear the good news for MB and lots of other.

BTW, one of my cousin is also stuck due to retrogression. His case is already completed and the priority date is Mar 2010.

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

02/12/11 - POE @ JFK
