I know you guys are big time surprised by not seeing the big "approved" word in a green color. Ok.

The interview went well. She answered all the questions to CO's satisfaction. CO returned all the originals but they kept her passport. Eventually CO said they have not received the medical report from IOM (medical buddy) yet and in absence of medical report they can not issue her a visa, once they receive the medical report they will call my wife.

I hope they will have medical report within next couple of days and will call my wife to pick up the visa.

aww. Can't u push tht place to send your wife's medical report. I hope your wife is issued visa within this week that way POE plans don't change. Good Luck.

I am gonna have my wife call embassy tomorrow morning and find out about the report.

Oh, then it will be easy. They will find it soon to attach in the visa packet. Hopefully, today or tomorrow they should issue the visa then.

My biggest regret today is that I'm not an Egyptian and that I'm not protesting with them. I've been glued to Al Jazeera English since last week. Brings tears to my eyes seeing all the people out, protesting. Awesome.

I spoke with my wife last night. It was nice talking to her after a while. She's still shopping and preparing.

When I said legal paper I meant 8.5" x 14" paper, not the standard 8.5" x 11" paper. I did that so I could fit more calls onto the paper. If you are concerned with printing just the spreadsheet, you can go to the skype screen on your internet browser and just click file "print" and that way it will show the other web site stuff on the print out. Also, if you want, you can print the transactions from Skype that shows each time your wife paid to charge her account.

Ask your wife to call tomorrow morning at embassy! She might get good news!! I heard similiar cases and very next day spous found to collect passport with visa! Its not big issue..keep calling them until they have reviewed medical report!!

Yes, they are. They have very old civilization like many other countries - Nile delta, pyramid etc. just to name a few!

Hope the crisis will be over soon there and they will re-build the peace!

Crisis? No, my friend. This is revolution. Egypt will come out of this stronger, better, and more stable. And then it's time for Syria, Saudia, UAE, and all the ME and NA countries. Followed by Afghanistan and Pakistan. But we'll probably be dead before Afghans and Pakistanis have this sort of popular revolution. Can't forget Central Asia. They need a huge dosage of democracy also. But the thing is a country's population has to be at least 70% literate for people to comprehend the need for self governance. This is the very reason why Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the other various -stans in the region are not going to see any sort of revolution any time soon. People are perfectly content being repressed. They don't know any better.

A friend of mine called NVC yesterday about his case that went to China 5 November, and has no Interview date so far. NVC said they had no information, or could not do anything, since his case was already sent to China. I believe NVC is just too lazy to check on their computer for any information...

My friend called his Senator's Office, that gave him a load of bullcrap, saying that people on sites, such as Visa Journey, give false information often. I am sure that everyone on here saying they are getting Interviews sooner than 3 and 4 months are honest. The main concern of a Senator, is to get re elected, everything else comes in second.

My friend sent an email to the China Consulate, and got a quick reply, that they were back logged, and they were waiting on documents. What they should say is that his case was probably in the botton of a pallot box, and they are waiting on the box to get empty to process his case, and the people getting their Interviews in 5 weeks or so from Case Complete, were just lucky that their case was on top of the pallot box.

It is really sad that not 1 government worker can give an honest answer. I told my friend he could send an email to NVC, Attn: Supervisor Sue. She seems to be the only person, that will make an effort in getting information.

WOW. AJE just interviewed a prisoner. The prison has been broken into and shattered. But this prisoner is staying inside the compound. He has 6 years left in his sentence and he doesn't want to leave now and risk being re-arrested. What a classy man. Though he may have committed some crime, he is not without honor. His sentence needs to be reduced to a ceremonial hour and he should be freed. This is the sort of mentality that's going to move countries forward: Responsibility, honor, and valor.
