I have two such shalis. To both of them, I offered to take them off from their parent's hand. It's a standing offer, redeemable anytime. My wife wasn't all too happy about it. But I told her that I'd still have slot for another one. I didn't get to interact with them very much but they're fun, crazy, and mouthy.

I just spoke with Operator she was able to tell me that my case is completed and they will be scheduling interview date in the mid week of the February. But she also said NVC cannot guarantee that we will get interview date in March because its depend on the capacity of embassy.

Now as you have CC, sit tight and relax. Next is to wait for interview date. I believe you should hear that by the end of first week of February even though NVC says the second week of each month. Remember me including some other folks got interview date on Jan 3? I also believe that India is not that busy consulate that's why you should get March interview. Wait of few days will tell us everything ! Be patient ! Congrats Binny.

My update: - wife will head to The Embassy in next one and half hour. By the time she is done with her interview, it might be 5 or 6 in the morning. So will share the good news early morning :)

As malvika said, you'll know your interview date any time from now and a week from NVC by email.

You belong to Mumbai U.S consulate and they schedule interview in 1.5 months from CC date. So, your interview will be in mid March.

Good Morning Folks,

I know you guys are big time surprised by not seeing the big "approved" word in a green color. Ok.

The interview went well. She answered all the questions to CO's satisfaction. CO returned all the originals but they kept her passport. Eventually CO said they have not received the medical report from IOM (medical buddy) yet and in absence of medical report they can not issue her a visa, once they receive the medical report they will call my wife.

I hope they will have medical report within next couple of days and will call my wife to pick up the visa. wacko.gif

aww. Can't u push tht place to send your wife's medical report. I hope your wife is issued visa within this week that way POE plans don't change. Good Luck.
