Guys, it was a good weekend. Especially the Saturday. It was sunny and warm. Uncharacteristically warm for a later January day. So we got a lot of Spring cleaning down. My mom came outside and directed my brother, and me. And my father was helping also. Sunday was equally good. I finished most of my shopping for next week's trip. By the way I made 88% on my Defensive Driving Course. After getting the required 19 question right, I intentionally answered incorrectly for sh**s and giggles. Also, I have been glued to Al-Jazeera English the last few days. The revolution (in Egypt), it streams.

In about an hour, my boss is taking me out for the year end review and lunch. Will probably get a 3% raise. Oh and I finished my tax return. Well, I finished entering all the data into the software. I used a dummy SSN for my wife. Once I get her actual SSN, will change it and file. But looks like, Mr and Mrs. Indigo's are gonna get $5,500. Good saving for a year. Unfortunately this is gonna fund my trip to Bangladesh and related expenses.

I hope you are all doing well and had a good weekend. Also, congrats to anyone who made progress on immigration journey and good luck to those still waiting. I'll be here all week so feel free to pitch me anything. Remember, this is all for you. We can talk about anything. Your life, your love, your immigration, money, faith, politics, that obscure fetish you have about tie-ing midgets to poplar trees and drowsing them with honey and watch the carnage as ants attack the poor soul. Yeah, we can talk about anything. So shoot.

Look at you Deshi bhai, had great weekend with family, salary raised, tax returned done, trip to BD in next and...Bhabi on the way to US..man i'm jelouse on you!!

Malvika,

That means, you both were declared as NY residents for 2009. So, show her as resident using MJF clause in the instructions and do e-filing.
