Guys!!

How are you doing? I just spoke to my boss, she informed me that this year they are going to cutting budget..It possible, they will get rid off from some offices. Our office is in RED HIGHLIGHTED!

Lets say , If I will be lay off...What state would be recommend for me as living, weather and deshi crowded.

I have been working for small company(AT & T contractor) as Business Marketing Analyst since last 6 years!

Education base:

Bachelor in International Business from Edison State college

Masters in Finance from University of Gulf Coast

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

Brother u culd move to Stamford, CT if u r lookin 4 huge bangaladeshi community but not many Indians n Pakis here. However, the weather is not good. Today we had 17'' snow. I took me 3 hrs to dig my car out n 2 finally make it work. NYC is only 30 miles frm here. However, the cash outlflow is not good $1600 for 2 BR apt. Train pass to NYC is roughlt $ 384 per month. Best bet is to work in NYC n live in NJ where its cheap like loto.

You got it 786india! I derived that formula after a lot of research, though I personally didn't want to move to NJ CT and NY my all time favorites. But, since most of NYC giants started moving to Jersey city (a ####### area), NJ became hot!

You got it 786india! I derived that formula after a lot of research, though I personally didn't want to move to NJ CT and NY my all time favorites. But, since most of NYC giants started moving to Jersey city (a ####### area), NJ became hot!

+ traffic congestion in Jersey City area is horrible. btw, my cuzin has been livin in Edison since 90s n workin in NYC no wonder y he is not thinking of any other place. Also, I even heard my cuzin say once tht thy teach hindi as foreign language to pre-school students wonder how much of it is true.

Very few drive to NYC and Jersey city. There are well connected train service and it is 45 to 50 min from Edison to NY Penn Station.

Traffic is really bad in all I-95 from New Haven to Central Jersey.

Teaching Hindi in pre-school Good one!

Sorry brother I have none I found it waste of time n effort. Since i graduated in recession in my case websites did not help me get job. My advisor recommended me 4 a job n i took it whn i was offered it was bad choice on my part to go into hedge fund industry in recession. No wonder y still to date I am looking 4 a stable job.

When you register here, if you're hot in the market, every day at least 25+ emails will land in inbox. 20 will be junk. 5 will be valid. Out of which all will be below your current rate (Thanks to the current job market!). But in 1 or 2 days interval, one will come up with better rate. Then grab it and attack!

I got today one from Credit Suisse, NYC. Just negotiating it, since Citi's interview status update is still pending! Rates are not bad at all for certain openings, over $200K with little bit tweaking! BTW, I am Senior Oracle Data Warehouse Architect and has 16+ years industry experience.

MB, yes CPA license will add some weight. My wife (and ex too) is also MBA in Finance & Marketing. She wants to do some job for time pass and will be doing some certification or course here.
