UPDATE: IV bill registered as PAID today WOOT!... I've printed off the cover sheet and the complete package is going into a postbox today. It'll be sorted on Monday (no post on the weekend here), leave Australia on Tuesday and probably arrive at NVC late next week... and hopefully they'll start working on it the week after... excellent.

What comes next? Wait for SIF? How long does that usually take? Cheers :)

Congratulationskicking.gif you are moving right along...

Tell us what you included in your package!!!unsure.gif

Thanks everyone for the good luck and wishes. I received the AOS package from the co-sponsor  And my husband might be sending out his dox tomorrow. He would've done it today but he had some confusion as to my address so he delayed it another day (b/c I was at work and blah blah blah personal info :P) So now I am just reviewing everything and should be able to send off the AOS package on Monday. Good grief! I never thought we would get this far! Thanks everyone again for all of your support. We are far from done but closer indeed! :star::thumbs:

Thats very good news Teja. I am guessing after all your journey ups and downs you have grow more cautious. I am also sure once you received the Co sponsors info, your eyes when right to the bottom line. I would say you're well on your way now and will soon will be shipping packages. Thats great!!! I fear to hear the celebratory noise generated that day...

Ehem..

Ok, I was taking my dinner break at work.. Checked the online portal, I could still sign in (3 weeks and 3 days of waiting for SIF). I had 15mins to kill, so I figured, what the heck, called NVC, got through after 5th redial.. then AVR said, "Your case was completed on October 13th, please wait....". I jumped and called my husband right away! And when I got home after work at approx 2345, I called NVC and was on hold for 30mins+. I was thinking maybe I should hang up because I though maybe the NVC guys are all gone, but this very nice operator answered and he verified that we're CC, final review and all that! I asked for a possibility of a November interview (hey, I had to ask.. :P), and he said unfortunately Nov interview's all booked and full. That's ok,I'm still thrilled we got CC today and no RFEs!!!   And I thought I was having a crappy day at work...

@Milena: They don't want me to get behind! I didn't realize your interview's coming soon. CONGRATS!!!!! And goodluck with your interview!

Kim- Woo hoo!!!  :thumbs:  Congrats on the SIF!!!! Any date on the rescheduled interview for yourself?

Mrs. D.-I can't help anyone with my AOS experience really. All I did was wait and fret and worry and ponder moving everything to Peru a half dozen times and mapping out all of the details. Not very useful to anyone :P But thank you :)

Tom- Yeah. I looked over his paperwork, even though we went through the packet line for line and I told him what to put where. It kinda sucks though because I will have to write a note to NVC saying that while he is married and filed jointly...I am only using his income (even though they make you put the couple's total). Luckily I have his W2's so they can figure it out (I hope!). He also sent me other papers that were filed which has me wondering if I should send them or not. I know that technically I don't need to send all of his junk in but I'd hate to get an RFE for it. Off to explore the VJ site for sure.

Rich- That is too bad to hear. I hope it is something that they will just let you bring to the interview stage. Could it be the same issue as Kevin?

We still have many hurdles to over come but hopefully we will continue to move in the right direction. :star:

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Mine will be full of copying paperwork and going over my lovely package to send it out on Monday from work. I'm not looking forward to the bill though...

Do most people send the AOS and DS-320 at the same time? Or is it better to send each packet separately?

Teya its just my opinion yeh. If you think you have met the requirement and don't need to provide the extra documentation I would not include it in the AOS package. I would have it available at the interview if you felt it provided additional support for your cause. Are you going down for the interview when the time comes? It might be wise. I'm sure your presents would be beneficial. It might look costly now but after all the time, effort and $ you have invested I would look at it as insurance. Regardless of what you decide we all wish you sucess and a speedy journey.:P

Do most people send the AOS and DS-320 at the same time? Or is it better to send each packet separately?

The short answer is HECK YES!!! If you have both packages showing as paid and they are both complete, then send them both in one courier package. Just make sure they are each adequately separated from one another just like the were being sent separately with it own cover sheet with Bar Code. No loose papers in the package... Shipping Monday? I would...
