This thread/board is getting so quiet. How am I going make it through 9 hours of work without VJ posts from now on? :( I have to at least do that until Feb 8th. Afterward see if I care about anyone of you. I'll be hanging out with my wife. :P Probably text her a lot also throughout the day or g-chat all day long. I'm just really bored now. I have some things I need to work on but they aren't due right away. So I'm just working on them on a relaxed pace. I need a really pretty grid-view control for ASP-AJAX site.

Me- getting busy as well!

Still looking for a home (a small condo, can be called as cute little home!) in Edison, NJ :star: Debate - Renting or buying? Now, in terms of cash outflow, both are same! I always like to beat the rent :star:

I don't have a computer at home. Well, I do have a work-assigned Lenovo. This this is an expensive beast but all I do with it is VPN into the my workstation at work. Anyways, I think it's probably time I buy a computer for the home. I want a clutterless computer. Mac seems to fit the bill. A 21-incher will be perfect for the bedroom. I could watch movies now and then and work from it too. Now my question, can I VPN into a Windows domain using a MAC.

I use Intel PC for VPN, IS.

Logically Mac also should be able to do it.

Buy if you can. They way I see it is that if you rent, you'd never get your money back. But if you buy, you could get your money back. Sometimes more than 100% of it. But increasingly, a fraction of it. And it's just so darn cute to have a house, a wife, and children. What more could you ask in life beside everyone around you a healthy and wealthy life?

Ok Indigo, that's what we were also thinking! Deposited $1K in the initial offer and negotiating it...

Waiting for my new job interview result (Citigroup) as well, to proceed further. So far, 5 interviews are over from Citi, these fu$$kers are interviewing a lot for a consulting position. Hopefully, I should hear a positive feedback this week :star:

Actually, I'm pretty relaxed about the whole trip. These few days aren't going fast enough. I want it to be February already. I can't work well or get things done without pressure. So the closer I get to Feb 9th, the more likely I will be done with shopping and packing. I need to buy a dressing table and clean up the house before going. That's about it.

Safe trip, yo. Enjoy your flights. I love going on long haul flights or trips. Most people complain about it. But not me. I love it. You can get so much reading done on a flight. Not to mention it's darn amazing knowing your flying thousands of feet above everyone. If you wanted to, you could poop on everyone below you. What would be more awesome than this? So enjoy. Take a nap. Read a book. Do crosswords. Make evil faces to little kids when their parents aren't looking. Day-dream. Just enjoy.

One of our family friend (Bangladeshi) is going to apply for his sister's husband. I've been called upon twice about this. I feel pretty useful. I'm gonna help them through the whole thing from A to Z. I will get to use all of tips and tricks I learned though-out the process that I went through. First up: I130. I feel positively radiant about this.

No. HR website says W2 will be mailed by 31st. :( And the site is down also.
