Ha. You have this SAVE database bit memorised. But that's some good advincing there, Lou. Now riddle me this: Since I already ticked the box to have a SSN generated and sent on the DS-230/IV package, would re-applying cause any trouble?

I don't think so, IS. But I would suggest to wait at least 3 weeks after POE, to re-apply it.

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

For old time's sake, I logged in the USCIS page to check the status on my case. Haha. It brought back so much memories of pouring through Igor's List, trying to find out the average time between NOA1 and NOA2. From now, I'm rather amazed that I made it through the 5.5 months of waiting. Given the choice to do it again, I would not repeat this. I then checked the NVC's payment portal also. SIF. Haha. I remember waiting and waiting. Then reading and reading the guide. Some part of the guide didn't make any sense. I was so confused about the two tracks for the AOS and IV. Then once I had to do it, it became pretty easy. Thanks to Loto and Darnell. And obviously rest of you. Now I will be seeing my wife in 22 days. Then she will be coming to America in in about a month. Those days waiting were a lot easier. Primarily because the choice wasn't on my hand. But now, this wait is rather difficult.

My wife called last night at around 11 PM. She's shopping and getting things ready. Because she doesn't want to waste time on these when I'm in Bangladesh. One of her cousins will have a birth day while I'm there. Maybe I might have to go. I'm not a birthday person. I can't wait to take off from work and get away from this sh** for a weather for two weeks. Most of us are very close to being done. Good luck and good luck.

One of the many things I'm looking forward toward. The bhapa pita here just aren't like the ones in Bangladesh. I'll be there for 8 total days. If my mother wasn't ill, I would've gone for a lot more days and I would've done a lot more things. Maybe InshaAllah I will get to these all next time I go. It might be even more wonderful since the wife will be going with me. I wish everyone the same happiness that I have and 10 times more. :)

Its been almost a month since SIF, and case still under final review. Called in last week for a Supervisor inquiry, and to date no results. I got off of the phone and the operator is telling me to call in next week to check. I am so sick of this - thinking about finding a job some other country in the world and just move. I don't know what to do.. its been over a year since we are married. :(
