Yes, I believe so...I'm in the same boat as you. My husband (beneficiary) sent in DS-3032 before getting the official one from NVC. I read a lot on here and I noticed that a lot of people sent it in theirs before the official email form NVC.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong

I sent mine the day I got our case number...we haven't received anything by snail mail regarding the choice of agent.

My email response from NVC states that I need to establish communication to NVC to designate an agent...but I thought I already did this, I'm wondering if this the snail mail version, can someone else me out with this?

OK guys. Might be a stupid question or my stupidity. But here it goes: On the email version of DS3032, it says

"Petitioner's Name: <Petitioner's Name LAST FIRST MI>"

I placed commas between last name, first name and MI. Is that wrong? Should it have been without the commas where they ask for names? I already sent it in with commas two times. Advise please.

OH Johnny!!!! They have you gun shy!!! Well the comma should only go after last name and a period after the MI. I dont think this is a big deal. If it is we are all in big trouble. Remember they have other documents with your name on it as well. Also they have your emails and Yada Yada. So please dont make yourself crazy with this YOU'RE GOOD to GO>>>

Thanks Tom. I was just checking to make sure. Its been 9 business days since I sent the email out and still nothing. Resent the email on Tuesday just in case and will be sending the hard copy next week once I get it from my wife. Lets see if i get it before I send the hardcopy in.

Indigo- The date that goes in your time line is the date that the AVR says as the date that NVC assigned your case number.

Personal update: Since it is Friday, I shall check both mails today to see if I received something from the co-sponsor. If not, I will be making a call tonight to check on what went wrong. My husband is still light years away from sending the stupid papers (anyone sense the frustration in my typing? ). Anyway...

Mary- That is what we say in English to. I hope that everything goes smoothly for you You guys are close to being done with this process. Will the doctor give you clearance to go to the interview and to fly here? Or are you going to have to wait until after the baby is born?

hi!! No I do not think I can stand being without my hubby any longer, danger will be over after 12 to 16 weeks of pregnancy or so, so I am going before, and that is the reason we want to expedite, actually my husband wants me there for Christmas. we will see how thing end up.

If you have received AOS fee bill and already paid the bill, than I think your DS-3032 has already been accepted. Sometimes you may receive email confirmation or may not.

Just send out AOS packet with barcode sheet.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has received the Agent of Choice selection.

According to our records, your Affidavit of Support Processing Fee payment was made on-line through the Department of State's website: www.ImmigrantVisas.State.Gov, Fee Collection. You must now download and complete the appropriate Affidavit of Support form and submit it to the NVC in order to complete your immigrant visa processing.

Please visit the Department of State's website above to download a copy of the I-864, I-864EZ, I-864A, or I-864W and/or the instructions.

We are waiting for the form DS-230 (Application for Immigrant Visa). The applicant must complete this form and send it to this office so that we may continue processing this file.

Please visit www.ImmigrantVisas.State.Gov, Applicant Document Processing, to download a copy of the DS-230 and/or the instructions. If you do not have access to the internet, you may wish to visit your local library or an internet café.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

UPDATE: IV bill registered as PAID today WOOT!... I've printed off the cover sheet and the complete package is going into a postbox today. It'll be sorted on Monday (no post on the weekend here), leave Australia on Tuesday and probably arrive at NVC late next week... and hopefully they'll start working on it the week after... excellent.

What comes next? Wait for SIF? How long does that usually take? Cheers

Congrats t everyone who is moving right along! NVC is maddening! You spend the whole waiting time at USCIS stage thinking you've got the whole thing licked. Then once you get to the NVC your mind fills with doubt over everything. Would help if they didn't keep switching their answers from time to time .

Thanks everyone for the good luck and wishes. I received the AOS package from the co-sponsor And my husband might be sending out his dox tomorrow. He would've done it today but he had some confusion as to my address so he delayed it another day (b/c I was at work and blah blah blah personal info ) So now I am just reviewing everything and should be able to send off the AOS package on Monday. Good grief! I never thought we would get this far! Thanks everyone again for all of your support. We are far from done but closer indeed!
