Good news guys sorry for keeping you waiting was stuck in a meeting and wanted to post the review at the same time.

Its done we were approved.

on a side note, I live in NH, about 45 minutes from the NVC, and ventured in the snow today to bring the kids sledding, and the roads were TERRIBLE! So I completely understand, but still! :crying: :crying: :crying:

A small update from us, thought might be helpful to get an idea after POE :star:

We received the Receipt# and Welcome Notice from USCIS today by mail. It came from TSC, hence receipt# starts with SRC.

It says GC will arrive within 30 days of the receipt/notice date which is 01/07/2011. But I have seen people received GC one week after this welcome letter.

@OBX, This time also, there is no CD or Hardcopy of "Guide to new immigrants" :crying: Anyway, I have a soft copy from USCIS :star:

Let me check the status of GC in USCIS website using this Receipt# - "On January 13, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Also, this notice lists the A#. The same A# is there on the Visa stamped in the passport from the Consulate.
