AOS fee bill always goes to the petitioner. It's the IV DS-230 bill that requires the DS-2032 Choice of Agent form in order for the IV bill to show up on the payment portal. If the petitioner hasn't yet received the IV bill on the portal, you should probably send the DS-3032 again bacause you're not sure they received it and/or processed it.

updates: AOS status PAID,..were ready to mail our AOS package to NVC...but im still waiting for the DS3032 notification if they accepted it or not..guys do i need to resend another one??..:unsure::unsure:

Yes, you should email one more DS-3032.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share our little bit of good news... This morning we received the Invoice for the AOS, so hubby paid it right away and I emailed in my 3032 on my lunch break. 6 hours later I got the reply to my 3032, and the bill for the IV, so hubby has now paid that! Now we wait for the payments to go through and the receipts/cover letters for our packages! Maybe Monday?? Going to spend the weekend making sure all our ducks are in a row just in case!

Celebrate good times, come on!

Great news! Congratulations

Nice! Everyone is moving right along!

Personal update: Since it is Friday, I shall check both mails today to see if I received something from the co-sponsor. If not, I will be making a call tonight to check on what went wrong. My husband is still light years away from sending the stupid papers (anyone sense the frustration in my typing? :P). Anyway...

Hope you hear good news from your sponsers by this weekend. I also think you should get your husband a shock collar for Christmas and zap him when he moves slowly... :girlwerewolf2xn::hehe: Hang in there Kido this too will pass... :halloween:

Took 23 minutes to get a human. Gave them my email and my wife's email. Things will be emailed to us rather than snail mailed. I got the standard 6-8 weeks message also. I was so gosh darn excited that I could barely remember my email address. :P Anyways, emails are on file now. What should IndigoSkies do now? What's the next step?

The trick to getting connect on NVC phone is to dial then as soon as you hear the busy signal. End the call and redial right away. Don't delay even half a second. Using this method, I was able to connect with NVC everytime I called with less than 5 tries. Maybe I got lucky or maybe this really is a trick which everyone can use.

Oh and NVC received the package from USCIS yesterday. Should I put that date on my timeline or should I put the date NVC assigned the case number?

HI INDUGO GREAT YOU GOT YOUR NUMBER CASE!!! I HAVE A QUESTION~ TO GET THE NUMBER IS NOT NECESSARY TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN? THAT'S WHAT MY HUSBAND DID YESTERDAY, WAITING FOR A HUMAN, IF YOU KNOW OTHER WAY, CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME.

THANKS AND GOOD, THINGS ARE SPEEDIING UP!!!

Teya Ji,

Yes I do sense the frustration in your typing.

And I second TomD that please motivate your husband [i know you already must have done that but tactfully keep pushing for the papers...] to send papers to you quickly, it has been a while since June 2010 I believe. Again BEST WISHES with you!

I posted a question here but I believe it got overlooked. Anyways I read the next steps as to what to do after getting the case number on some other threads. It was advised to go ahead and email the VJ template for the ds 3032 as soon as the NVC case number is received which I just did now (well technically my hubby the beneficiary did). I have not received a kit or anything yet from NVC regarding ds3032's or aos bills. Has anyone here had a problem emailing the ds 3032 this way? should i be okay here? and what do i wait for next :-P ?

That's the response you get when the e-mail address you're sending to doesn't exist or if he didn't write it correctly! :bonk:

Well, that is the e-mail: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov and as I can see you have the correct one... Make sure when sending the e-mail not to leave any spaces in the address or write coma instead of a dot... double check it even triple! :P Maybe he typed something wrong :)

Try again! Good luck! :P

Mr&Mrs D thank you for your fast response I appreciated. I had him resend it again and had him triple check it like you suggested. It went through just fine this time and got the auto response back as well.kicking.gif Now we have to wait for the AOS...

Thanks again,

I sent in a question once and the response I got after about 3 weeks was not even responsive to my question. So I sent a reply back telling them so and that they needed to show this to their supervisor who could explain it to them. That was the last time I sent any questions to them. Someone told me they use subcontract workers which might account for them completely missing my question and it wasn't a difficult one either.

Here is what I sent and got back...

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Please submit the requested documents to the NVC for review.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the

NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will

expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents

will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration

process.

I have a question regarding my wife's Philippines passport. Upon receipt

of the IV DS-230 Invoice from the NVC, I will be submitting our IV

package. I have a copy of my wife's passport which is still valid for 2

more years. However, this passport is in her maiden name. She is in the

process of renewing her passport but the new one will not be completed

and ready at the time I submit the IV DS-230 package. Will it be

acceptable to submit her current passport BIO page with the IV package

and for her to bring in her new passport with the proper name and a copy

of her Bio Page with her to the interview?

Thanks you for your assistance

Respectfully,

TD

Wow...so I shouldn't expect an e-mail any time soon. Looks like I'm'a be better off using the phone :) Thanks so much for the info, TD!

OK, so now that I have these emails from NVC, I have a question. It talk about "establishing communication with NVC by registering an agent," haven't I already done this when I sent my DS-3032? Do I need to do it again or is this something different? It gives me directions to go to teeh www.immigrantvisa.state.gov website, is this necessary if I already sent the DS-3032?

OK guys. Might be a stupid question or my stupidity. But here it goes: On the email version of DS3032, it says

"Petitioner's Name: <Petitioner's Name LAST FIRST MI>"

I placed commas between last name, first name and MI. Is that wrong? Should it have been without the commas where they ask for names? I already sent it in with commas two times. Advise please. :P
