Kathryn41, why are you being all bossy and strict all of a sudden? Nearly all of us in this thread have been conversating with each other for months and months now. We're familiar with everyone's antics and nuances. There's no reason to me all moderate-y just cuz it's snowing outside. I changed my beloved display picture even though it didn't bother anyone at all for months and I couldn't possibility find any clauses in the TOS that said I couldn't have the display picture. But whatever, I changed it so you'd go away. We're all allright up here. So no worries, sister.

You have NOT changed your display picture - your avatar still shows and it is a violation of TOS. You can have a display picture just not one with obscenities and promoting drug use.

Please remove your avatar as requested. The picture of the bear is fine - it is the words written over top of it that are not acceptable.

Thanks to all, these are the documents I mailed today to the NVC. Hopefully they issue is RFE.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Hereby, please find DS-230 application and supporting documents for XXXXXXX, to acquire immigrant visa (CR-1).

Please note that, at this time we (are) unable to obtain PASSPORT CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE from the Ahmedabad Passport Office, India. According to the Passport Office, they would require either a "missing document checklist letter" or "Interview Appointment Letter" from the for verification purpose to issue the Passport Clearance Certificate.

So, for now we have attached a notarized copy of local police clearance certificate with this application (Original police clearance certificate is required to submit with the application for PASSPORT CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE).

Since we are unable to obtain Passport Clearance Certificate at this time from the Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India because of the above reasons, please provide us with the Checklist letter of missing documents, such as passport clearance certificate, or an Interview Letter, so we can obtain passport clearance certificate As Soon As Possible. Then and only then we can provide the PASSPORT CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE to the Consulate at the time of interview. Therefore, please complete our case and forward the case to the Consulate where we can submit the police clearance certificate.

Enclosed are the following:

1) Barcode sheet

2) Cover letter

3) Copy of the missing and incomplete checklist letter of the NVC

4) DS-230 package part I (signed) and II

5) 2 passport size photo of the beneficiary

6) Beneficiary Birth Certificate along with two affidavits and a copy

7) Marriage Certificate and a copy

8) Notarized copy of Local police clearance and a copy

9) Notarized biographic page of the beneficiary's passport and a copy

10) Copy of Biographic page of the Passport – Petitioner

Is it looking good to you guyz or if I have missed anything please let me know, so I can get those Documents ready in case if I get any RFE.

Cannot tolerate this journey anymore, tired of collecting and checking documents, I finally send it off today and hopefully I don't get any RFE. please pray for my husband and for me.

Its surprising, the 'NVC' stage at the consulate lasted barely a few moments!
