Just going to bed after another day of no SIF. Kinda getting to me now. I have arranged a day out with the girls in London tomorrow to take my mind of things - I was hoping when I spoke to my hubby tomorrow evening that I would have good news for us.

Good luck to your wife IS for tomorrow, you are so close now, it must be so exciting.

I was thinking about Houston Apollo today - how are you if you are still around? Have you had any more updates on your case whereabouts yet? I keep hoping and praying for you for it to be worked out quickly.

Hello guys i got this email from the NVC but i already sent the orginal copy papers also stamped on the goverment i have no idea what else to do i m so confused with it we already sent the affidavit of support too......

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

address provided.

______FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:__________________________________________

The NVC has received the requested Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230). However, we are still

waiting for the Affidavit of Support form. Please submit the Affidavit of Support form according to the

instructions on the Department of State website at the following address:

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov.

From there, you can fill out an Affidavit of Support form online, then print the completed form and mail

it to NVC.

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

Talk to more than one NVC operators and try to convince them you have mailed them.

If many operators say they have not received them, you will need to re-send them again.

NVC has the good history to lose the documents, unfortunately!

Thanks loto..But as u know its really hard to get a human trough..Anyways we will try it.

But they are saying that ''The document you submitted is not an original or certified copy of an original issued by the appropriate government authority''well i sent the papers that they required is translated orginal and stamp from the civil goverment officer..except i did not sent the orginal marriage certificate bec they migt lose it so i just made a copy of it also translated and sent it too..

There is no word to explain my feeling now :S we sent all papers and what happened ?

what kind of affidavit of support form they want from us ? i m confused i think it should be I-864 what else

They only wanting an affidavit of support from my wife or what else

Petitioner's Affidavit of Support - it is I-864. Make sure they have received it.

They might issue false RFE as well.

Yes, it is hard to get the NVC human. But you have to do it. Re-dial the number as many times to get the human. And get the feedback from at least 2 operators.

Now I know - you haven't sent the original marriage certificate. They want to see the original marriage certificate (though it is NOT in English) and the translation. You need to send the original, but make sure to include the IV package's barcoded sheet (it has case# and proper NVC address) again with it. Otherwise, the chances to miss it is very high.

Yeah...I'm leaving 2 weeks from tomorrow! Unfortunately, I can only stay one week due to my work schedule.

God willing, he gets approved but since it will take a week for his passport to be ready with the visa, I won't be able to return with him.

Good luck on your move to N.J. It's very exciting! You have a new job, a new home and now have your wife and daughter to enjoy it with you. All good stuff!
