Regarding my DHL package tracking:-

My AVR changed last night. It's now saying "NVC forwarded my package to my consulate on 01/05/11. Earlier I was presuming it was shipped on 01/03, thus I was using the same date to track my package and I saw one for Nepal too :( but now I guess that's not mine

Guys, what date should I be using now to track my DHL package?

You should be using one date before your shipment date. You'll never know for certain if the package is yours or not. Because you're not the only person applying from Nepal. But if you see one package going to USEM on or around your shipment date, then you can be fairly certain that's yours. Thankfully, when I tracked my package, it was the only one in that whole week going to USEM in Bangladesh. My wife's interview is at 8:00 AM. I'm hoping she'll be done and out by lunch time. So by mid-night Sunday, I can be celebrating. As awkward and as uncomfortable it will be to see my wife again, I do want to be with her for the rest of my life and I want that to start as soon as possible.

I'm still here too, waiting for my SIF/CC, I know I havent had a lot of contact with you IS but I have kept you and your family in my thoughts since your mums stroke.

It is kinda sad everyone leaving the group - I guess the excitement of reuniting with their loved ones has taken them away - I can't think why? Haha just kidding :P

A few VJers I recognise have gone over to the NVC January thread which I keep my eye on - just to gauge when my SIF might be!

Hope all is well for you both (IS and Malvika) today.

Lilu

PS Good luck on Monday IS!! You will be fine!

Yes Indigo, I should be using one date before the shipment date that NVC AVR says and yes we'll never know for certain if there are more than one package shipped in the same date, but we can presume. Anyway, you'll be hearing the good news by Sunday mid nite and I'll be here for you to celebrate your joys together like we had last time for Loto :) Good Luck again.

My AVRs have not changed yet :( so tht means my case was not sent yet. I am having an argument w/ my husband regarding POE date if he gets visa. Also, I am not looking 4ward to driving home in this snow storm.

Good Luck IndigoSkies keep us posted on how the interview goes esp wht questions were asked.

I'll update everyone the second I hear the outcome of the interview. In fact, I already have the response typed out. One positive. And one negative. In case, there's a bad news. But both of them are equally jarring to the whole immigration process. Before I go home tonight, I'll open up two tabs on my Chrome and paste the responses in its own tab. So sometimes during Sunday night, I can just click "Add Reply" in one tab and close the other. Talk about being super efficient!

786India,

As I said above, I noticed my AVR change yesterday at around 9:00 PM. You never know yours could change anytime soon and still says document was shipped on 01/05.

It is not important that when was your document shipped to USEM, It's important that you got your interview date for 02/04 :) That's how I take it :D

Hope you have your SIF by the end of the day today and you'll have a blast over the weekend :) Good Luck !

I know, it is not a tricky case either. Maybe they forgot me....?! I spoke to someone on the 5th Jan and they wouldn't even tell me if it was under review yet. I figured I will call them again tonight if I still haven't heard anything. I know how you felt now last month when you felt like you were stuck in the starting blocks.

I just pray that when I do finally get SIF/CC that it is in time for February interview. I will be on here like a shot the minute my SIF arrives - you guys are the only ones that truly get what that feeling is like!

Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
