It's probably a bit premature to segregate my counter by hours. But without it I had 7 days left. With it only 6 days and some spare hours. Getting a bit on the nervous side. I haven't seen my wife for 9 months now and I'm going to be seeing her soon. Anxious much. A person changes vastly over a year. Nine months is almost a year. Unlike most people with long-distance marriage, I didn't talk to my wife everyday. We basically texted each other a few times a week on most weeks. I can just imagine the awkwardness... FML.

Yes, Loto :) I am soooo excited! We haven't seen each other since 6/5/10...this is the longest stretch of time we've been apart and it's been very stressful! But, God willing, this will be the last such separation. I am just hoping and praying for approvals for all of us here on VJ. We've all paid our dues (literally and figuratively) and deserve to be re-united with our loved ones.

I am trying to track my package, but it is not working out. As I understand, the DHL date that should be entered would be the business day before the interview is assigned. So if my interview was assigned today, my package should have been mailed out on Thursday. Therefore I should be using this EXP 30 DEC 2010A. But I am not finding a "Jerusalem, Israel".

Am I doing it wrong?

10/26/10: NVC Case# received by calling AVR.

10/27/10: DS-3032 Emailed, no response.

10/28/10: Called NVC gave both Petitioners & Beneficiaries email and contact info

10/28/10: IIN Received, emailed DS-3032 using supervisor Sue, received response that agent can not be added at this time.

11/01/10: Emailed DS-3032 and have no response so far.

11/04/10: AOS Fee Invoiced and Paid. IV Fee Not Invoiced yet.

11/04/10: Re-emailed DS-3032.

11/04/10: Medical test given, if any issues will hear back or if its all good will be turned over to Emabassy.

11/05/10: Recieved AOS fee Paid confirmation and barode sheet.

11/06/10: AOS mailed USPS Express.

11/08/10: AOS package received by NVC; Signed by :N Visa Center,Received email that DS-3032 has been received and accepted & IV Fee Invoiced & Paid. Waiting for processing.

11/12/10: IV package mailed USPS express.

11/15/2010: IV package recieved by NVC.

11/19/10: AOS entered into System.

11/29/10: IV Entered into System

I received my P4 packet email from NVC this evening with the subject line <NVC case number (STD P4 APP)>.

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

Don't worry, IS. Expect that it probably WILL seem awkward for a little while. Even for those of us that talk to our spouses every day. Expect an adjustment period. That's completely natural. Talking and actually living together are two very different kinds of relating. Just take things as they come and be patient with one another. It will seem more natural as time passes (F)

Technically you are right about the date you should put in to track the DHL package. But since we didn't find the interview date on Thursday, I don't believe that our files were forwarded to our consulate on Thursday. Rather I think it has been forwarded today ie. 01/03/11.
