I would like a prediction from the usual suspects... :ph34r: :ph34r: :P If I get my rfe (court document) into the nvc by january 5th, what are the predictions for cc and interview date in february? This is the only thing they are waiting for now....I hope to God we can get an interview in Feb....I am planning on taking vaca then....thank youuuuu :blush:

BTW....WELCOME BACK LOTO! So glad to see that your family is now intact...makes me happy to see so many people getting closer to being with their loved ones!

Yes, exactly. I would rather suggest you to call NVC on Monday. You never know you can have your date sooner.

Happy new year!

Typically, parents' interview will be much easier unlike spouse's (you know why). Basically, provide the documents to prove the relationship between you and parents and their marriage certificate etc. Also, review all the forms such as I-130, G-325A, DS-230 and I-864.

Questions will be normally about you, your details in the U.S (job, salary, address, when arrived for the first time, when became USC etc) your siblings data, their details etc. Ricardo4Eva2 (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/user/88143-ricardo4eva2/) will be able to provide more details since he had IR5 recently.

packet 4 is the one your wife will get from the embassy with the interview info and medical exam info, etc. inside.

i think packet 3 is only if you file DCF or a K visa. think it includes the info for affidavit of support and immigrant visa packet.

not 100% on this though. i tend to confuse my facts. maybe someone else can chime in?

BTW do you think our interviews can also be scheduled during the third week of a month?

When I was exploring about the interview dates last night. I found our own "Svenkatc" whose interview was scheduled at the end of November and got interview for Jan. I missed my January interview just by couple of days. This friggin RFE killed my whole month. Otherwise I would have gotten an interview for first week of January.

Loto and Svenkat must have having good times with their loved ones :D

So I am a bit unsure of what is going on. The NVC seems to be taking FOREVER to review our RFE's. One package that was entered into the system 11 business days ago still hasnt been reviewed. I was hoping for a SIF before Christmas but I don't think that is going to happen.

hey everyone,

still no news about my case. still calling every day. still not received at either the NVC or USCIS. its now been 3 weeks.

i put in a request with a supervisor and i guess theyre looking for our case. they said they emailed the embassy to find out what day they sent the case back. i already told them what day it was sent back.

ive found numerous other people here on VJ whose cases were requested back to the USCIS on the same exact day as ours so i think that its something they did, not us. but they still wont tell us anything.

so i was wondering, while all of this is going on, does my husband have the right to come to the US with the visa waiver program? and, can we just start over with the K3 visa instead? or do they first have to cancel this or what?..
