So true, so true. I keep checking the payment portal even though I KNOW that it is closed. Forever hopeful! I hope they are back working double time tomorrow - I don't know how long I can wait!

Good morning! Happy new years to everyone. My wife did her medical exam last night--which was the day of 28th in Bangladesh. She had to take one shot and draw one vial of blood to lab works. I had teased her that she'd need to take at least 45 shots. So after the medical, she had a few choice sentences for me that ended with "..., you weirdo." The whole process took about 1.5 hours. We were expecting a day of activities.

Panel physician will send the report to US Embassy in Dhaka directly. They gave my wife a receipt that they said to take with her to the interview. Awesome sauce. This is why the medical had to be done at least 10 days before the interview. For safeness's sake, we had it done 14 days ago. Nothing more to do now than just wait for the interview date which is in 13 days.

UPDATES ON INTERVIEW DATE:

NVC HAS RESENT THEIR REQUEST TO DHAKA USEM ON 12/22/2010, BUT HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY RESPONSE YET. I AM ASSUIMING TO MANY REQUEST HAS BEEN FORWARD TO EMBASSY FROM NVC, TAKING LONGER TO RESPONSE. I HOPE ATLEAST THEY GIVE ME AN EARLY FEBRUARY INTERVIEW DATE.

I am wondering if its ok to call in 1st week of month whether thy scheduled your interview date or not. Or is it best to call on 18th of the month. I wonder how thy schedule is it on-going basis like simultaneously or by embassy.

thanks for the wishes. Since we both request for an early interview date, NVC OP told me that they wont schedule interview until pending request being excuted. I am stunned. I will wait for 2 more days and I will send withdraw request to NVC of expedite request via email to SUP SUE.

NVC was closed for 4 days?!

i put in a supervisor request on the 20th of dec to find out where my case was etc.

they sent an email to the embassy asking when &how it was sent. still havent gotten an answer.

when i called today they told me to call the embassy and ask the same.

theyre running me in circles and hoping that im a idiot who wont ask any questions and sit and wait.

i refuse to sit and do nothing while they play with our lives. im doing all i can to resolve this.

Are you sure? I put in my request on 12/17 to Sup Sue for speedy interview date and haven't heard anything back yet. How do I know if it was considered as an expedite request and it's still pending? I don't wanna mess up with this process now coz I don't want further delays to my interview. Help me !

I am kind of worried about my AOS I-864 package, it was scanned on 16th DEC, because on 16th dec AVR message changed to "NVC is waiting for biographic form from the petitioner" which we have not send yet, we will be sending that next week. Last Thursday I spoke to the operator and she said they have received something via mail and its in a review (I believe that is I864 package because thats the one I sent last). Shall I call them today and ask for the status of I864 package or better to wait.
