My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

02/12/11 - POE @ JFK

Guys how can I track my case from NVC to consulate. My case was forwarded on Dec 15. I tried the EXP14DEC2010A at the DHL website but it's saying no shipment found. Am i doing it right?

UPDATES ON INTERVIE:

NVC haven't received any response from USEM Dhaka yet. I am guessing thursday was Holiday( Bangladesh Independent Day ), also Friday & Saturday is weekend in Bangladesh, So I am not getting any response until Monday :crying:

12-20-2012: SENT N-400 APPLICATION

12-21-2012: RECEIVED N-400 APPLICATION

12-27-2012: CHECK CASHED

12-28-2012: NOA RECEIVED

01-08-2013: BIO-METRIC COMPLETED

01-14-2013: INTERVIEW IN LINE FOR SCHEDULED

04-10-2013: INTERVIEW SCHEDULE AT 7:30 AM, TAMPA OFFICE...APPROVED:)))

Nope no good news yet. Spoke to NVC operator twice today its still under review. I don't understand how it takes thm almost a week to review.

btw, wht time did u realize your SIF yesterday?

Yay I am so happy I checked the AVRS and it has changed to 'checklist response received on 15th Dec'!! That means I am hopefully a week away from SIF at last!!

Checked AVR at 5:45AM since I culdn't sleep as I was expecting some sort of news. I was disappointed to hear as it didn't change. Now I am at work with severe headache.

I was wondering does NVC schedule interviews based on Priority date or CC date. Any ideas?

@ Miami_Boy & Malvika I hope u guys get your interview date soon.

Glad that your RFE was entered. It took exact a week for me to get SIF/CC after my RFE was entered. Yours could be sooner too. Good Luck !

786india - That's really strange man. Both ours RFE was entered on 12/08 and you've still not gotten SIF ! Did you speak with a supervisor at NVC? What are they saying? Well again, each case is different at NVC. Your should be at final review now. I hope you will get your SIF/CC together by this evening. Good Luck.

Ughhh, why is CC taking such a long time?

That's long........For me I couldn't even enjoy the waiting for my CC. As I got SIF I rushed to call NVC and then the guy told me my case has just been completed. Hope you will get it today :)
