as per M_B's timeline you should have your SIF today coz your RFE was entered on 12/07 and I should have mine tomorrow (again each case is different at NVC, depends on how enthusiastic are reviewers ;)

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

02/12/11 - POE @ JFK

I just asked for an expedite in processing. I don't think anything bad can come from that :)

According to Vj'er's experience NVC forward the expedited case to the embassy without final review. I dont how good is Jerusalem embassy for palestenian :whistle:

@ asad it takes 3 business days to review your expedite request. I am sure by thn u will have CC. I tried to expedite my case but Bombay embassy denied my request.

I had also written to Sup Sue before getting an RFE on my case. I had just requested her to process my case at an earliest possible coz I had been waiting for this case since very long. Later on after a week or so I received a snail mail from NVC saying My consulate denied my expedite request. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...... I was like when did I tell you to expedite my case????

I had also emailed to my embassy requesting earliest interview date. They replied back me saying NVC had requested their approval to expedite my case and since immigrant visas can be expedited in extreme situation only and asked me to come to my interview in regular processing. ####### !

Yeah. My mom is still in the rehab center. Her rehab started on 11-DEC. The first two days were asssessment days. Her actual rehab started on 13-DEC. I don't know how long it will take or how long she will bein the rehab, but I just want my mother back to 100% soon. I'm trying to keep calm and strong, since I'm the eldest son among my 2 sisters and 1 brother. But when I'm alone, I can't help but totally break down. This is so unbearable. My mother did everything for me. That's how Bangladeshi mother's are. They do everything for their son even if the son is 50 years old. I certainly asked her not to do as much but she continued to do them for me. I just want my mother to be doing the same things again.

I have to be thankful that my mother didn't lose any memory. And thankful that she's still with us. And thankful that she's making recovery. Everyone I talked to wheather they personally had stroke or know someone, tell me that she will be fine as they got better. I work with this guy name Gavin. I would have never guessed in my life he had stroke. Yet he did. My dad's mom's borther's wife had stroke last year. Her whole left side was gone. I met her on my cousin's wedding couple of months ago. Until two nights ago, I had no idea that she had stroke and was disabled. She's completely fine. So I am hoping that God will bless my family as he has blessed all of them. And I hope God blesses everyone going through tormoil in their life.

No matter what seeing your active mother suddenly become inactive is hearth-wrenching. This pain I don't even wish on my direst of enemies.
