Re: Regarding photographs mail sent on 11/24/2010.

Dear Madam,

I am Rab Bas (DOB: xx-xx-xx) wife of Mo Bas

(DOB: xx-xx-xxxx) resident of 738 Shamrock Blvd. Venice, FL 34293

and my case # DHK2010XXXXXX.

On 11/18/2010, NVC has received my both IV & AOS packages.

Unfortunately, I did not include my child and my photographs into the IV

packet. On 11/24/2010, NVC has received my photograph's mail.

I would greatly appreciate if you would attach my child and

my photographs into my application and complete the case processing as

soon as possible.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has received documentation for this case. As soon as this file

has been reviewed, notification will be sent.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the

NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will

expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents

will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration

process.

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

Nope, NVC only counts mail as received once they enter them in their system. My RFE was delivered on 11/29 and was entered on 12/08 and that's what my AVR msg. is saying now "Checklist letter received on 12/08". They might not have started reviewing my RFE yet though. Not sure

Oh. So tht means ppl who review it were slacking bc it was friday.

ME IS IN COOOOOONFUSED!!!!!!!!!:crying:

y don't u call NVC n get n update on wht's going on your case now may be somthg changed between sunday email n now.

thts odd. I was told the 20 business day ####### on 12/8

On 12/10 when I called to get an update I was told my best bet is to call nxt fri i.e., 12/17. So, tht means tht operator thinks tht my review will be done by Dec 17th.

@ asad any updates on your RFE?

That's just NVC tipical message. If it's under review it means someone is currently reviewing it and you should get feedback very soon.

20 business days is their starndard message like 6-8 weeks. When they say 20 business it counts from the date of mailing the documents to NVC til they review/accept the documents or till we get SIF.

Yes, that's so true Ladydare. But at the same time I wonder since they have already reviewed my IV package without photographs now what they have to review with the photographs? Are they starring at my wife's beautiful face? mad.gif
