here is my update:

AVRS changed to documents missing on 12/10. #######!!

I called last night around 8 p.m, Operator was told me that they are reviewing my package which was received on 12/06. I hope it's not real RFE.

If your package was entered on 12/06 then your AVRS shouldn't say something like that. Anyway, lets hope it's not a real RFE.

FYI - My AVR was saying "found information missing" until the midnite of 12/08. They entered my RFE on 12/08 and on 12/09 when I checked AVR at 7:30 AM it was saying "Received checklist letter response on 12/08".

Here what was my IV PACKET-1:

1. DS-230 part-1 signed by my wife

2. DS-230 part-1 signed by me onbehalf of my child

3.DS-230 part-2 complete & unsign

4.DS-230 part-2 complete & unsign for my child.

5.Original birth certificate for both my wife & child

6.Original Marriage certificate

7.Affidavit of my wife last name changed to my name

8.My wife's passport copy & my child passport copy

9.My wife's school certificate in english

10. Original Police clearance certificate

11.Cover letter

IV PACKET-2:

1.cover letter

2. Letter of explanation

3. My wife's photo & my child photo

AM I MISSING ANYTHING!!!!:crying: :crying:

Everything looks good except the photocopies of above documents seem to be missed !

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

Hi Malvika & M_B

Called NVC around 7 yest got hold of a really nice guy guy who had cold. He told me they received something of 12/8 and its under review. My best best is to call next Friday.

My gut instinct says we will have SIF on Monday. Lets see.

I wish we all could make it to jan interview list.

My engagement anniversary is Jan 31st and wedding anniversary Feb 9th.

Since I just started my new job last Sept I cannot go to India so I hope he is here by our wedding anniversary. Lets Pray.

I also hope that we all (whose RFE was entered last week) will have CC by the end of next week, but I doubt that I will fit in Jan interview list according to atst interview date :(

I don't really believe you need interview letter, however, when I called the USEM subcontracted medical office, they informed me that I should schedule for medical about 2 weeks before the interview! Hope that helps.

Although NVC demands the photocopies of all documents submitted with IV package I personally don't think if in case you missed them they will generate RFE ! Finger crossed !

Man I am having a rough day. Does anyone get swept away with emotion? - frustration, upset, despair at times being away from their loved ones? I thought I was holding up well but recently I seem to be falling apart. This whole process is exhausting me and every day I ring in hope that our RFE has been entered and case closed. I am so tired of living a separate life from my husband and I know our time will come over the next few months but somedays (like today) I get so lonely and sad.

Please NVC, please hurry up and enter my RFE. I want my case complete before Xmas but I am losing hope....it is the only thing I want for Christmas this year (apart from actually seeing my husband which is impossible!!)

H_Apollo - any updates from USCIS or NVC?

Malvika - got my fingers crossed for your SIF coming early next week - it is dragging on too long now.

I agree with what you have said. It's really tough living apart from our loved ones. Every single minute seems a whole year. But it is what it is. Most of us are going or have gone through the same situation. We need patience, motivation and positive energy at this tough time. Once we get this thing over we won't have time to look back and feel the ups and downs of this moment.

Since you have sent your RFE on 12/07, it should be entered sometimes next week. Now you are very close to SIF and CC. I am 99.99% sure that your case will be closed before the Xmas.

November 3, 2010: AOS paid
November 5, 2010: AOS status "PAID". Sent AOS packet
November 6, 2010: DS-3032 email received. Emailed DS-3032
November 8, 2010: IV paid, DS-3032 accepted
November 10, 2010: IV status "PAID". Sent IV packet
November 15, 2010: IV received at NVC
November 22, 2010: False Checklist for missing DS-230
November 29, 2010: AOS + IV entered into system
December 4, 2010: SIF, Case Completed
December 6, 2010: Interview Scheduled
December 27-28, 2010: Passed Physical
January 6, 2011: Interview @ 0830 Approved
January 14, 2011: Visa received

My SIF came on a Saturday morning

By Monday I had case closed and interview date.

Saturday morning is most likely possible for SIF since NVC update their system between midnite to early morning I think. I have seen in NVC Tracker many people got their SIF on Saturday.

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)
