Safe journey Loto, have a grrrrreat vacation!!

Wow, haven't been here in a while. Got kind of disilusioned since NVC has now changed my case closed date twice adding 3 and a half weeks to my case. But I'm so happy to see all the progress that has been happening. Time passes and with it our time in this struggle passes too.

wow, am I glad I didn't wait for NVC to email me my RFE checklist....I still haven't gotten it yet, and RFE was generated on tuesday!! Thank God for VJ....teaching us how to be proactive! :D

Sorry to hear about the bumps in the road for a few of you and the giant slap in the face to HoustonApollo (I really hope they figure out which way is up before too long! Maybe you will be able to expedite your case once again so that winds up where it was supposed to be right now).

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

5.Original birth certificate for both my wife & child

6.Original Marriage certificate

7.Affidavit of my wife last name changed to my name

8.My wife's passport copy & my child passport copy

9.My wife's school certificate in english

10. Original Police clearance certificate

11.Cover letter

IV PACKET-2:

1.cover letter

2. Letter of explanation

3. My wife's photo & my child photo

Hi Malvika & M_B

Called NVC around 7 yest got hold of a really nice guy guy who had cold. He told me they received something of 12/8 and its under review. My best best is to call next Friday.

My gut instinct says we will have SIF on Monday. Lets see.

I wish we all could make it to jan interview list.

My engagement anniversary is Jan 31st and wedding anniversary Feb 9th.

Since I just started my new job last Sept I cannot go to India so I hope he is here by our wedding anniversary. Lets Pray.

Question for you !

Do we really need to have an interview appointment letter before going for Medical? What else do we need to take to the doctor for medical and what time your beneficiary's interview has been scheduled for?

I don't really believe you need interview letter, however, when I called the USEM subcontracted medical office, they informed me that I should schedule for medical about 2 weeks before the interview! Hope that helps.

10/15/2010 - NVC received the case

10/20/2010 - NVC Case # assigned

10/20/2010 - Beneficiary emailed DS3032 COA

10/28/2010 - called NVC, still no idea about the IIN and case status

10/30/2010 - received email with IIN and AOS payment instructions.

10/31/2010 - AOS fee payment; status : IN PROGRESS

11/01/2010 - Beneficiary emailed DS3032 COA again; with attached copy of signed barcoded COA.

11/01/2010 - Emailed lastname correction with Passport Biography page

11/02/2010 - Beneficiary received email with confirmation/approval of DS2032

11/02/2010 - IV fee payment; status : IN PROGRESS

11/03/2010 - AOS fee payment; status: PAID

11/04/2010 - IV fee payment; status: PAID
