10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

Now I guess NVC is going to take whole 8 days to finish reviewing my RFE after it was entered :(

Nope Nothg yet. Just checked payment portal I can still sign in. Checked AVRS same message receieved checklist letter response on 12/8 ...

I plan to call NVC tonight if SIF doen't happen by then. Keep me posted if you guys hear somthg.

I can still sign into payment portal. Even though I called this morning i was held for 55 min, then i gave up. SO NO SIF THIS WEEK.

Also i have to find out visa number has assign to my case yet or not. I heard rumours that maybe from monday NVC will stop processing which aready been processed.:bonk: They will continue process those case who already assigned the visa number.

I am very upset at this moment. How can i find out visa # has assign for my case?:help:

my update:

I NEED HELP!

still not received at the NVC.

contacted my senator today. he said he got a response from the NVC. that when they receive the case theyll send it to the USCIS.

the dept of state requested the review.

he said that usually when things get sent back its not a good sign. said he rarely sees any k1/k3 get approved after getting sent back. said its for a number of reasons. usually because of criminal history/etc. none of that applies to use. we have had no problems ever. im thinking it might be because my husband works in the aviation field and they want more background through the faa or something?

or maybe its because the embassy didnt feel like reviewing it so they sent it to the uscis to do their job? because it was sent to them on the 26th of nov and when i emailed them teh 29th they hadnt received it yet. so that means they got it the 30th and decided to just send it back without even looking at it, right? thats not enough time at all to review. maybe they decided they werent "qualified" to review or just didnt feel like working?

the senator really brought my hopes down when he said hes never seen a case get sent back and then approved. im really worried now. and plus, he said that they dont have to tell us anything, they can just leave us in the dark for as long as they want doing whatever theyre doing.

what am i supposed to do? what am i supposed to think?

I CANT TAKE THIS! HUBBY AND I ARE PERFECTLY NORMAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM IN OUR LIVES! AND WE DONT KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS EITHER! WHAT DO THEY WANT WITH US?! PLEASE TELL ME

no, we applied for k3 and i-130 at the same time, but the i-130 was approved first, so we decided to take the route of ir1/cr1.

i just dont understand and i cant make sense out of it.

i know that for now everything is speculation, but comeon..

neither of us have any sort of problem .. i cant see any reason why it was sent to the USCIS other than the embassy didnt feel like reviewing or that my husband is in the aviation field.

maybe im missing something.

is it really that almost all the cases sent back get denied?! we have no reason to be denied..

i just dont get it..

i have no answers.. just wait ..

I have been told by NVC that the priority date was printed wrong at my NOA-2. So they had sent my case back to USCIS for correct it.

NO BACKGROUND CHECK ON MY CASE SINCE MY WIFE'S OCCUPATION IS ONLY HOUSEWIFE :D

no, but i mean, it had been sent back. so you had to deal with uscis again. -- not to the same extent as i will (thankfully for you) but what are your opinions on all of this? is it really that probable that theyll deny it? they have no grounds to.. i just spoke with my senator and i posted that on the page before i dont know if you saw..

On your situation...You need to wait atleast 15-20 days, sometimes USCIS giving you decision rightway, My case was with USCIS only 5 days, NVC is taking 7-15 days to receive mail from their mail room.

So, buddy nothing we can do for this delay, even OBAMA too :whistle:

Once you get through, if you use Haiti line, you get connected right away. Sometimes within a few seconds. I found out every time I accidentally clicked 1 when asked to click 1 for Haiti line. But I'm done with NVC. For better or for worse.

11/22/10 - AOS package entered into system (took 8 days from the time it was delivered)

11/16/10 - IV package sent

11/18/10 - IV package rec'd -signed for by J.DESMOND

11/??/10 - IV package entered into system

11/24/10 - Case Complete due to expedite request

11/26/10 - Sent to USEM Paris -- case was expedited

12/01/2010 - called the embassy and found out that our case was returned to NVC, unopened, unreviewed, dont know why.

have been contacting NVC, embassy, USCIS, and DoS daily, as of 12/15 our case is in no one's system. waiting for answers..

Any updates on your case??

Nothing new here... hopefully by the end of next week...

i m going to Paris with my friends for the week end, kind of a "goodbye week end" for me, even though i won t get my visa until february i feel like..

Received confirmation COA: 10/28/2010

Sent IV+DS230: 10/29/2010

AOS entered in the system: 11/08/2010

IV entered in the system: 11/12/2010

Stupid RFE on birth certificate: 11/24/2010

Send German birth certificate : 11/26/2010

German birth certificate received by NVC : 11/29/2010

RFE entered in the system : 12/07/2010

SIF: 12/15/2010

Case complete: 12/16/2010

Holiday in Martinique with my wonderful wife : 12/31/2010

Interview : 02/22/2011

Visa in hand : 02/28/2011
