when does AVRS usually changed?? is after mid night or during the day time. I called NVC around 12:30 am mid-night, avrs still played old message, but when i checked in moring like around 5:30am, AVRS changed to documents missing!

I think the AVRs are usually updated between midnight and before NVC opens in the morning coz my AVR was changed between 1:00 AM and 7:30 AM next day.

@ Discotrash- congrats on your new AVR. Bring SIF and CC soon please.

This time I was unlucky with AVRS - Case not found!

Do you think visa retrogressed wont hold my processing? I couldn't even get right answer from NVC Supervisor? She said, once we complete reviewing your mail, then we send it to the embassy. Please allow 20 business days!! #######!!!

Retrogression will start from Jan. You'll be done well before that. Also, even if you are not done, it won't affect you.

I second Loto in this M_B.

The update on my mail is I just received an email reply from NVC which is saying that they have my documentation now and once reviewed I will be notified. Otherwise whenever I sent email to NVC since when my RFE, every email reply used to say "Please submit requested documents to NVC for further processing of this case". The operator also confirmed me yesterday that they have entered my documents on 12/08 and hasn't been reviewed. I hope you, me, discotrash and 786india will have our SIF and CC almost at the same time. Lets pray !

My AVR says CC 8 Dec same as SIF. Wonder how many days to squeduel interview...

1. DS-230 part-1 signed by my wife

2. DS-230 part-1 signed by me onbehalf my child

3.DS-230 part-2 complete & unsign

4.DS-230 part-2 complete & unsign for my child.

5.Original birth certificate for both my wife & child

6.Original Marriage certificate

7.Affidavit of my wife last name changed to my name

8.My passport copy & my child passport copy

9.My wife's school certificate in english

10.Cover letter

IV PACKET-2:

1.cover letter

2. Letter of explanation

3. My wife's photo & my child photo.

Anything missing??

OK guys, Good luck to eveyone with varying stages of this process. I haven't been able to come online much since I left for Nepal end of November. I took the risk of traveling before my case was closed. I was scared sh*tless about RFE's especially when I saw malvika's posts. Malvi, good luck with the hiccups, though extremely frustrating!

Well fortunately, things worked out as planned. My case is closed and interview has been scheduled for 25th Jan!! It is so far away, another month and half? wow!!! trying to work with USEM in Kathmandu to move the date closer.

USEM has made medical exam a mandatory requirement for a huge fee ($127 in Kathmandu). This is not including them charging individually for vaccinations.

Any figures or such requirements in other countries? Should we post and compare notes if this is uniform across the board?

Where is Police Clearance Certificate of your wife?

Did you include barcode coversheet - one for wife and one for child?

I think you have paid 2 $404 fee, right? (Just wanted to confirm)

Did you include wife's passport copy?

Did you include the photocopy of all the above civil documents?

Congrats atst for your interview date. I was wondering where u been so long. What I see from your time line that I DO NOT have January interview possibility since your case was completed on 12/04 and got the interview date for 01/25. This friggin RFE spoiled all my plan grrrrrr...

Please let me know if working out with USEM Kathmandu for your re-scheduling for early interview will work out.

BTW, when did you get the interview notice email?
