Bad news here :devil:

NVC entered my DOB wrong in their system and I came to know it. Now they don't disclose anything to me and asked to mail or email either U.S Passport copy or the Birth certificate. I just emailed to them. My NVC case may be delayed :devil:

10/13/10: CASE COMPLETE!!!

wow, how do they mess up these things? hope things go smooth for you.

They need to used OCRs for the standard documents instead of human entry system

NVC:

10/15/2010 - NVC received the case

10/20/2010 - NVC Case # assigned

10/20/2010 - Beneficiary emailed DS3032 COA

10/28/2010 - called NVC, still no idea about the IIN and case status

10/30/2010 - received email with IIN and AOS payment instructions.

10/31/2010 - AOS fee payment; status : IN PROGRESS

11/01/2010 - Beneficiary emailed DS3032 COA again; with attached copy of signed barcoded COA.

11/01/2010 - Emailed lastname correction with Passport Biography page

Better yet, they should let us fill out these craps online. No need to waste money on monkey's typing up our info that we already typed once. Plus, with an online system/form, we can quickly correct it if there's a mistake.

Congrats to everyone who moved up one or more steps in the ladder. :)

Tabitha and atst, it was express mailed yesterday and hope they would sort it out quickly :star:

I desperately want the end of Dec interview (Don't know it goes to Jan too) because I have one furlough week during Christmas time, then one more holiday for New Year. It is just 2 weeks vacation for me. I don't have vacation - no pay for no work :devil: I want to join my wife and daughter during her interview and come back (if they get visa) together.
