OBX is she. This she completed her CR1 interview back in 2008. Now she will be due for ROC soon. Also, this she lives in New Jersey. :P

She was my junior back in 2008 when she did CR1 :P

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

Would love that but I don't drink Tea or Coffee..will sip some hot chocolate

I heard they work monday-friday from 8am-6pm, Each officer only work 4 days a week 10 hours a day. also they rowted hour each month, so they can have straight 3 days off..:whistle: :whistle:

My package to India has not shown up still and I got all the forms from USPS. Completed all the forms and filing the claim tomorrow.

It looks like they will refund the postage ($28.95 + $100 default insurance coverage)

Today completes one month since the express mailing. I am worried about 2 documents only:

1) Birth certificate - This can be made from the village office in my place. My old school mate is the village officer now. (We'll have a party in a restaurant for that :star:)

2) Naturalization certificate - This can be obtained by filing a USCIS form and around $350 or so.

Immigration journey never ends!
