Am I checking the correct website for SIF?? I'm going to

https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/Signon.aspx?node=Signin

I check every few days, but no SIF yet. I have a few questions.

Could I possibly miss a SIF? Like, if I don't check for a few days and I miss the day it would be SIF, would it let me sign in normally the day after or few days later?

My DS-230 and AOS was entered into the AVR system on the 29th of Sept. I know it hasn't been long enough to start worrying, I was just curious if I needed to be religious about my SIF checking so I don't miss it.

Thanks guys.

So it takes about a week to get the DS-3032 approval after sending it my email? They also send the AOS review payments details at this time, right?

You cannot possibliy miss your SIF. Because once you get the SIF, you can't go back to being non-SIF. If you don't check often enough, you will just not know about it as soon as it happens. Honestly, checking once mid-day and once around 2000 or so hours is enough. But most of are OCD when it comes to immigration; so, we check obessively and compulsively and frequently. Like once every few hour. You're fine, man. Don't worry too much.

As for checking frequently, it's your choice. Do it often if it makes you feel good. I know it would. So I would probably do it when my times come.

------------------------------------------------------------------

For sh**s and giggles, I filled out the DS-230 form for my wife. To practice. I really need to stop doing this because nothing has change since last time I practice-filled it in. I can probably recite the form now. And I-864EZ form. LOLSCAPE. I need a new hobby until NVC gives me a case number, which I'm hoping will be in 3/4 days. It's been 10 days since my NOA2. Might take a more than 4 days however since yesterday was an off day for NVC.

Senior and Milena, Fedexed it too, couldn't wait as senior advised :star:

IS, NVC entered my DOB wrong in their system. Called 2 diff. operators to confirm it. They asked me to email and/or mail my U.S Passport or Birth Certificate copy. I had emailed today morning. I just came back from the post office and Fedex-ed the same too.

Good thing, I included the paper copy of the DS-3032 (COA) completed by my wife. It should arrive there tomorrow.

Thanks Emily!

Provided our both email ids today. After emailing my U.S passport and birth certificate copies, I express mailed them too. Good part here - normally DS-3032 email is enough. But I included the hard copy of DS-3032 signed by my wife in the same package.

Talked to 3 different NVC operators today. First 2 of them even didn't allow me to proceed due to DOB issue.

The third one was nice, repeated my NVC case# again (so it was confirmed) and accepted both email ids and updated their system. When I asked about this DOB issue, she told yes and to send the supporting docs.
