I still confused. where in the process require photograph? does DS-230 package needs photograph? where can I find some info about photograph requirement and include in what package?? please explain.

It's their general requirement that 2 PP photographs and civil documents along with DS-230 should be submitted to NVC by all immigrant visa applicants. You don't have to affix photographs to a form rather you need to enclose that in your IV packet that you send to NVC.

They have NOT gotton my photographs yet, she told me to call back middle of next week, but I am not going to listen that and I am going to call them again tonite

11/29/2010............AOS entered at NVC's system, requesting for biographic info

11/30/2010............DS230 entered at NVC's system

Hi Malvika,

I try to complete DS-230 package for my parents. I can not find anywhere that needs photograph. why do I need to send photograph to NVC? what parts require photograph? please explain.

One photo will be affixed by the Consulate officer on DS-230 at interview time for their records. Don't you see the big square on the left top of DS-230? You will NOT paste it, ok.

Second photograph is used to scan and print on the visa page inside the passport.

But for IR5 (parents of USC) category, include the below 2 in the IV package.

1. Original or certified copy of your Petitioner’s birth certificate
2. Original or certified copy of your Petitioner’s marriage certificate from the Petitioner’s current and all previous marriages.
