I would like to try some nepali food. Malvika what would you recommend? Maybe one day on my way to China I visit Nepal too, i heard is very interesting place.

LIP - yeah Nepal is indeed an interesting place to Visit. The natural beauty ie. mountains, Safari, hiking etc. are main attractions.

There are whole lot of Nepali food that they are really tempting. Just to name few - Sekuwa, Momo, Choyola, Bara, Bhutan etc.

Update on my mom and my life: She is no longer in ICU after having a moderate-mild stroke. She's in her ward. She can bend her right leg and lift up her right arm about 1 inch. Which is a progress from complete inmovility. Please pray for my mom. Your thoughts and well wishes mean much to me and my family.

As you can see, this events has put immigration on the back burner. Can you guys write some tips about what I might overlook during this tense time about immigration. I don't want to stress my mother more by having the immigration process messed up. I got the P4 package. But nothing there that says go to x medical clinc. Will I get it later or what? What's going on. Guys, I need short and concise replies and please PM it to me as well as post it here. When I can I'll read your pm and dig here also. But i cant really think straight right now.

But if you could have managed to speak with a supervisor they would tell you what it is. Next time if you call NVC be sure to tell them "I need a definite answer on my photographs it they were received and I need to speak with a supervisor"

OMG I just to spoke SUP. SUE, She said she did received some mail on 12/06, now is in process but we dont know what was in the mail...#######!!!!!!

IS I'm so happy for your mom's progress. Day by day she'll have even more improvements!! Idk what to advise you, in my case i already know what facilities are accredited & already choose my fave thanks to all the good reference about it. It's great news that your mom is out of danger. My pray & thoughts always with her. Verys soon she will fully recover.

* for your wife; all she needs to go medical...i believe there is phone number somewhere in interview letter or USEM BD website so she could call them & make an appoinment.

This might have gotten overlooked last night, so I thought I'd try again.

The ever-helpful VJ "How Do I Bring My Spouse (Husband or Wife) to Live in the United States?" page has this little nugget under what should be brought to the interview:

All applicant’s education, employment and all personal files

Erm...what does this even mean? University transcripts? High school too? Grammar school? And for work...what exactly?

Can anyone take a stab at it? Thanks....

Indigo - Glad to know that your mother is out of ICU and progresssing. As I haven't been to that phase yet can't really shed lights on it, but I wish you good luck in every step of your life.
