ok, found out this morning that they are sending out a checklist.....seems I forgot to sign the original sponsor paperwork :blink: :blink: :blink: Did I really forget such an inane detail?????????? Anyways, she says to wait until I get the checklist....because I will need a cover sheet....how long before I get a checklist?? Also, when I send this in, will it take 2 weeks again just to put this in??? I guess no SIF for me before the holiday break.... :crying:

Sorry to hear that you are getting RFE. Usually they send email in same day or day 1-2.

so I forgot to sign part 2 sponsor's promise on my mom's 1-864a.... :bonk: had my mom check over the paperwork with me too, and we both overlooked this :blink: anyways, not the end of the world, but will set us back a couple of weeks....anybody know what days the nvc is closed for the upcoming holidays?

I went over my DS230 and packet many, many times. I forgot to send in the 2x2 photos :bonk:. A day after I sent the DS230 i made a another cover letter/bar code and sent the photos, :bonk: ....

I forgot the same thg as well I checked my paper work three times yet I missed it may be bc tht signature line seems to part of the box thts right before. NVC still haven't scanned my RFE I am hoping thy do it today.

Today is exactly 6 weeks since our NVC case number was assigned. I figured I would be done by now :angry:. Why is it taking NVC so long to review my IV package? It's been 8days since it was scanned. :bonk::blink:

It took our RFE list 3 days to be delivered by email - such a horrible wait as you just want to get it sorted and done. I feel you as I doubt we will get SIF before Christmas either. Much later than I hoped to be finishing with NVC :(

Hoping yours comes through quickly.

I am having the same problem today - usually I get through in about 6-10 tries on Skype but alas today no chance!! I wonder why?? Come on NVC get it sorted for you and all of us with RFEs! Houston_Apollo I keep checking on you to see if anything has worked itself out yet for your case - you are in my thoughts - fingers and eyes are crossed for this to be sorted.

I just spoke to an operator Molly, gave me holly Info, They have received my photgraphs mail on yesterday 12/06/2010 ...Now its under review!!!!!!!!! Can I expected my SIF this week....:whistle:

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system
