Guys,

I've been so busy today at work.

my update:-

I called NVC this afternoon and spoke with an operator about that email that I received on 12/04 which was requesting some kind of amended forms. I had requested NVC to upgrade my case after I became US citizen on 11/19.

The operator told me that I don't need to send anything except photoraphs(which NVC was missing), they are just waiting for my photographs. I repeatedly told her that I received an email from NVC requesting some amended forms, what do I need to send. She again told me that I just need to send the photographs then I asked her to transfer me to a supervisor. A very nice supervisor Mr. Ethan came to the line saying "Good Afternoon, how can I help you". I told him the same story about the email, he also confirmed that only thing they are missing is beneficiary's photographs for IV package. I asked him once I become US citizen afer I had already submitted AOS and IV package do I need to send updated one again? He then told me NO and just to disregard that email which I had received on 12/04. Finally he told me once they receive my photographs they will be able to close my case.

I am glad that I didn't have to send anything again.

Thanks.

AM HAPPY FOR YOU....MALVIKA

Guys. My mom is really ill. She had high blood pressure yesterday so we took her to ER. They gave some tests and one medicine and discharged her. But since today morning, her blood pressure went up and she has partial paralysis on her right side. She can barely move her right arm and her right leg. She can't walk on her own. So we took her to ER again today. We've been there since early morning. They'll keep her there for at least until tomorrow. I came home to eat something and use the bathroom. I'm going back now. Please keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers.

Congrats to everyone, especially Debby on your interview date. And good luck to everyone else.

My prayer is with her for the speedy recovery, IS!

Heather&Matt,

Most probably, it will be a fake RFE. Call them and confirm it. But, NVC is known to misplacing the documents.

If the PCC is really been lost, then email to Supervisor Sue that you will produce them at Consulate interview time and close the case. Also, specify to close the case and expedite the interview since you got injured and your hubby needs to be with you as soon as possible. If you get expedited, it is real good since Montreal is lagged for interview - 4 months or so.

Loto

Loto,

It was a true RFE...we called today. Makes me upset considering they have everything else that I sent with it, yet misplaced that specific form. I actually got a new Police Clearance completed today (usually takes 3 weeks, I got it done in 10 min). We will overnight it tomorrow...and hopefully this is the last thing they will need.

As for expediting, my husband talked to his Congressman and they said to give a good reason to expedite and they will take care of it. One reason we do have is that I want to finish my Master's degree yet can't do so by living in seperate residences and not being able to save money for schooling. The injury explanation may not work as I am fully recovered and my husband and I live 30 minutes from each other...he could very easily take care fo me while we live sepearately.

Such good news for you Malvika! Just a shame they still haven't got round to attaching your photos - I am still waiting for them to attach my original certificates to my case - it just seems to be taking forever right now. So so frustrating - it would be quicker for me to fly over, rest from jetlag, break into the scanning department and do it myself. Oh yeah - helps if I could get into the country right now - oh well - I guess we have to wait some more! Fingers crossed for you!!

UPDATE: Medical scheduled for January 3rd @ 9:00 am.

My husband received the Police Certificate from Greece authorities and it was relesed to him...I was told by NVC operator that it will be sent by Greek Authorities directly to the US Embassy in Romania but that is not the case. I am happy that he has it because we were worried it will not reach them in time for the interview. The PC will be transalated in English and have the Internal affairs stamp and seal on it. I am hoping this will be enough!!! I will call NVC today to find out if an appostile is needed as well...

hmmm...

What is considered date gap in DS-230? Is the following considered gap?

Address1 05-2005 Present

Address2 01-2001 04-2005

Or it has to be the following

Address1 05-2005 Present

Address2 01-2001 05-2005

Well i really don't know, but i think both would be fine,as long as it's not 6 months in between where you could've stayed somewhere! Goodluck :)

Thanks.

Great news Malvika  CC soon for you as well
