Congratulation to all who have received their SIF, CC & also to those who are progressing.

On a side note concerning the AVRS:

My case have been completed & I have already received my interview date BUT the AVRS still tells me "There is no record of your case #"

So I would NOT trust the AVRS.

Thanks :) hopefully that would be the case here, just a mistaken AVR message!

im still so upset about it and a nervous wreck.

it was at the embassy .. all they had to do was look it over and give us an interview date..

why did they have to send it back?!?! :crying:

im waiting to hear back from my senator's office by next wednesday. (what exactly can senators do in these situations?..)

and im going to be spending my days calling the NVC, USCIS, and DOS until i get an answer..

i really just cant take it.. im so upset about having to go back to the US without my husband esp. knowing that he's going to be stuck here jobless and living with friends/family until the interview date..

and its all my fault... :/

Senators have separate line to talk to the bureaucratic offices. So, they can get the reliable status on your case.

It may be a Consulate mistake.

Or it may be a genuine reason too - example - If NVC misplaces a document in the package to the Consulate, Consulate cannot proceed the interview without that. NVC is known misplacing documents.

from what I've understood through my recent phone calls and emails,

the embassy has sent the case back to the NVC.

the NVC requested the file as per the USCIS (NVC = messager & has no right to know why they are sending case back)

the USCIS (possibly) requested the case back at the request of the DOS to do a review. a review that could take up to 120 days. a review that they dont have to tell you anything about. what theyre reviewing or why. how long itll take. anything.

i just need answers. and a solution. and my hubbys visa. *sigh* :( just pretty 'down' at the moment..
