* I emailed them yesterday around noon and just got this response. I asked them where my case was and whats going on. this is what i got:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Your request has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). According to your records, the petition was sent to NVC, however we have not yet received the file. Please allow more time for the petition to arrive to the NVC and appear on our records before we can assist with your request.

12/01/2010 - called the embassy and found out that our case was returned to NVC, unopened, unreviewed, dont know why.

have been contacting NVC, embassy, USCIS, and DoS daily, as of 12/15 our case is in no one's system. waiting for answers..

11/30/10 - Consulate received

??/??/?? - Consulate scheduled interview

??/??/?? - Packet4 received from Consulate

??/??/?? - Medical visit

??/??/?? - INTERVIEW

??/??/?? - receive passport by mail

Hoping for late December / early January interview? please?

MY husband just called NVC AVR and it said it said our pacakge has been reviewed and some information has been missing and they have mailed us the RFE checklist back on 3 december :/ is that a real RFE ? or a false one ? :/ *sigh*

I got absolutely the same message and am wondering if it's for real. My husband and I never received the checklist....at least for now we haven't.

Malvika- I wrote "SUE" not expecting that anything would come from it. I didn't ask for an expedite. Just for them to review things in time for January scheduling.

-NOA 1 Receipt date: 3/1/10 (sent 2/18/10)

-Touched 4 different times in between

-APPROVED: 6/2/10

93 days from NOA1 to NOA2

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

-NVC sent checklist letter (for the 2 AOS RFE's): 11/13/10

-NVC operator says the IV package has been entered: 11/18/10

-E-mailed SUE to see if that would do anything (3 diff times...): 11/29/30/10

-Sent AOS RFE's: 12/1/10

-AOS RFE's received: 12/2/10

-Checked payment portal for fun (SIF!!!!): 12/3/10

-AVR still say AOS missing info: 12/3/10

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)

Hopefully it's a false one :/ otherwise we're pushed back around a month :(

i wouldn't say it would be a month 'cause we already received a ckecklist regarding the AOS package, that happened on Thanksgiving. My husband respond to it asap and it got entered into the system on 1 Dec and when I spoke to an operator yesterday she said that it's under "being reviewed". But still, it better not be a new RFE!

Did you ever got a checklist (not including this AVR message)?

Atleast you know that NVC will going to receive your case not USCIS. Keep checking with NVC. Good luck on your case.

i hope so...

last time i called them yesterday they said that they served as the "middle man" to send things to the USCIS and that they are only the processing center so they have no idea why it was requested to be sent back.

idunno.

think itll be there by monday and they can give me answers? it was sent from paris on dec 1st..

@ Toni_sh : had to restart the computer, and nope never got a checklist! Hopefully it is a false one for us both :/ and yes definitely hoping if it wasn't false it wouldn't take a month, i need to catch early to mid january interviews to get to celebrate our anniversary with my husband on early february! :/

I hope it is a false one for you guys - we have just sent our RFE in this week. So sad to think that we may miss out on February interviews now - our first anniversary is too in mid Feb... :unsure:

If NVC told you that they will be middle man to handed your case to USCIS. Boy, then NVC wont listen to you until USCIS re-aiffirm your case & return to NVC for the Visa processing. Its nothing to do with NVC, Its USCIS things :crying: . I told you the time frame, then just wait.

Cool.

I am still able to log in. I am still getting the checklist AVR message.

Ok finally got thru to the AVR, still says that that docs are missing per email on Dec 1 (IV/DS230), however if tried multiple times and two computers and i am still getting a SIF on the NVC pay portal.

Can i declare an OFFICIAL SIF or wait?kicking.gifkicking.gif

NVC

10/26/10: NVC Case# received by calling AVR.

10/27/10: DS-3032 Emailed, no response.

10/28/10: Called NVC gave both Petitioners & Beneficiaries email and contact info

10/28/10: IIN Received, emailed DS-3032 using supervisor Sue, received response that agent can not be added at this time.

11/01/10: Emailed DS-3032 and have no response so far.

11/04/10: AOS Fee Invoiced and Paid. IV Fee Not Invoiced yet.

11/04/10: Re-emailed DS-3032.

11/04/10: Medical test given, if any issues will hear back or if its all good will be turned over to Emabassy.

11/05/10: Recieved AOS fee Paid confirmation and barode sheet.

11/06/10: AOS mailed USPS Express.

11/08/10: AOS package received by NVC; Signed by :N Visa Center,Received email that DS-3032 has been received and accepted & IV Fee Invoiced & Paid. Waiting for processing.

11/12/10: IV package mailed USPS express.

11/15/2010: IV package recieved by NVC.

11/19/10: AOS entered into System.

11/29/10: IV Entered into System

Consulate

01/14/11: Interview (APPROVED)

ROC:

01/03/2013 I-751 package sent.

01/04/2013 package received.

01/07/2013 check cashed.

01/11/2013 NOA received in mail. NOA dated 01/07/2013

Ladydare!!!! Did you try to log in? if not try. Im getting a SIF. Im trying to call the AVR to see what it says, but its down at this time.

Congrats on SIF :dance:. I have been checking no SIF yet..as you know my consulate is busy. I will be happy if i get SIF on Monday.

Citizenship next step!
