Make sure you are keeping your email concise and descriptive. Avoid using too many adjective. Use more nouns and verbs. You wanna make each paragraph short but sweet, demanding but not imposing, etc.

Do you think any other people know about emailing Sup Sue beside us here in VJ?

Absouletely not, that's why I keep telling to imagine of a situation if VJ wouldn't be here to help us out in all these matters. Specially when we are misleaded with false AVR msg. and NVC operator not disclosing the truth. It would be terrible.goshhh

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

My cousin will sponsor for me. So do we need some affidavid to show how we relative. It doesnt need rite? Sponsor dont need to be relative to sponsor rite?

Make sure he files the appropiate I864 version if he lives in the same household. Make sure you send proof of his legal status in America. Send his citizenship certificate copy and passport copy (if he has a passport.) Otherwise you'll get a RFE.

heres a list of what ive done so far (aside from crying and the likes):

1. called the consulate in Paris to ask if they have reviewed my case, and if so, if the packet has been sent. that is where they informed me that the case as been sent back to the NVC on Dec 1st as per their request, and they have no further info

2. from there i called the NVC and explained what the embassy had just told me. they told me that they have no yet received the case, and that it was the USCIS who requested the case, the NVC serving as a middle man. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor (they didnt want to at first but i insisted) the supervisor repeated what the first parrot said and was of no further assistance.

3. i contacted the uscis. spoke to tier one and then was escalated to tier 2. both repeated that because my husband is overseas they dont see why they would request the case, and that would be the DOS (@discotrash, DOS = dept. of state)

4. i contacted the DOS and they confirmed that the case has been sent to the NVC but they had no more info

5. contacted the NVC AGAIN. got a nice guy this time who said it is possible that immigration or someone else requests the case and the NVC just serves as the messenger and wouldnt have any info as to why. they havent received the case yet and have no record of the request.

WHAT DO I DO NOW? NO ONE KNOWS WHERE IT IS, WHERE ITS GOING, WHY, FOR HOW LONG, ANYTHING?!!?!

It happened when people expedited processing. I dont know why people expedite the case unless they fall into NVC criteria. I believe there is another person who work behind Supervisor Sue. He/she probably watching all sup. sue works. So, guys let NVC work their own way, i would love to wait another 3-6 month for NVC completing my case( Never wants my case back to USCIS).

Even my case already been sent off to USCIS for correction of peiority date. it took 52 days to returned to NVC.

I dont see any bad side of your case, But it is weired why NVC or USCIS request for them to review? Aren't they already reviewed & approved? It is hard to tell at this moment. You have to give them atleast 10-15 days to clear up everything. In my situation, NVC already issued me IIN for AOS & also accepted my ds-3032 too, suddenly my case returned to uscis for review? but I had to wait 15 days to find out what exactly was. So wait & pray...

If you were asking for my opinion, I think there's two scenarios here. First one and the most unlikely one is that you were chosen for random extra audit. At my work, we do this sort of things. We randomly pull stuff from production line and put it through rigorous audit controls. But the most likely scenario is this: Embassy got your file. It saw that it wasn't processed. Called up USCIS and said, "Hey, Bubba, I got here one of them case that looks like it's not processed. What do you think I shoul do Bubba?" Bubba said, "Well turn me over and shove a ginger up my butt! I've no idea what to do do either. Why don't you just send the case over to USCIS and we'll figure something out."

Disclaimer: Guys, don't shove a ginger up your butt. They're people, too, even if they don't have a soul.

Wow Houston that sucks! I would just keep calling everyone like you have been and try and get answers from them. Until the NVC or USCIS gets the file back, they won't know what the official letter says. How frustrating and especially because it will take time for it to arrive in the U.S. and then for them to review the case again and tell you why there is something wrong. I hope you are able to make the best of a bad situation here and find out sooner rather than later and get the interview quickly! :thumbs:

@Houston, those were my educated guess. I'm sure I have got parts of the truth. What you need to do, I think, is keep calling NVC. Until you hear, "Yes, we got your case file here. We're going to send it to USCIS now." As soon as you get this message from a person, you try to escalate to a supervisor and ask them to process the file at NVC if there are any processing left. Then send it to embassy like they normally would. There's no reason to send it to USCIS again since you already got the NOA2 approval. That's the best course of action I am. Meanwhile, if you feel like it you can email your senator to find out why USCIS wanted the case back.

We're going to send it to USCIS now." As soon as you get this message from a person, you try to escalate to a supervisor and ask them to process the file at NVC if there are any processing left. I would say wait till NVC received your case & then send an email to SUP. SUE, see what they are reply about your situation. call everyday to NVC see if they have receive your file yet. Thats what i did.

I called NVC a bit ago. Still don't have a interview date. I hope I do by next Friday.
