hey everyone thank you for your Congrats....it is about time huh....anyways i want to know something???? we were approved on the 5th of Oct. and i already called the NVC on friday just to see if we were there already and they have us in the computer with our WAC# but not put into the system yet...so the ??? is how long now from the time they put us in the system do we get to start with this process of paying the fist payment..

It takes anywere from a week to two weeks to get the NVC case# Once that is issued you will give them your email addresses. On that day or a day or so later your first bill will be generated.

My mom's 130 was just approved on 5/7/2010, I haven't received NVC# yet. So now preparing for the NVC steps. I'm having my parents to sign the forms (COA, 230, etc), when should they date those forms? after they sign and date the forms, if i alter the forms to add NVC#, would that invalidate the forms? or can my parents just sign the forms and leave the date to be blank, so that i can just print the date on it?

First of all, Congratulations :dance:

There is no NVC Case# on DS-230. COA can be emailed by your parents.

They should sign the form. You can fill it up and date it.

OK, I guess almost time to peek in this forum... got my email notification of NOA2, still waiting for the mail notification.

Question 1: Are AOS and IV parallel processes? Or do I have to do one before the other?

Question 2: All those documents that require barcodes, do I need to wait for them from NVC (do they come with the barcodes pre-printed on the form) or can I download the ones available online and fill out/have them filled out by my spouse and just put the barcodes later when I receive them? I am trying to preempt all the forms and have them sent to me while I wait for my NVC case number?

10/20/2010 - NVC Case # assigned

10/20/2010 - Beneficiary emailed DS3032 COA

10/28/2010 - called NVC, still no idea about the IIN and case status

10/30/2010 - received email with IIN and AOS payment instructions.

10/31/2010 - AOS fee payment; status : IN PROGRESS

11/01/2010 - Beneficiary emailed DS3032 COA again; with attached copy of signed barcoded COA.

11/01/2010 - Emailed lastname correction with Passport Biography page

Both are independent tracks. But IV triggers only after DS-3032 acceptance.

Barcode sheets can be printed out when the payment shows PAID in the payment portal.

Sniff Sniff..I'm not allowed to join your group yet..I'm jealous!! I called NVC...they said that everyone that's been approved in the last 3 weeks will have a delay in processing until CanadianRedneck receives his NOA2...lol. They put us in in even batches of 12 to be processed...so far 10 spots filled..Richi and Myself....should be coming next. Then NVC will proceed.

p.s. I am full of ####### and kidding..I'm happy for all of you going further...my time will come..by hook or by crook. lol

I got that gut feeling that since they only requested the medical record..and the Tier1 said there was a fulfillment date of Oct 3, we got approved, but the transmission or notification got screwed up..or is in the mail as in your case Loto. If they would've said NO..they would've done it quickly, plus we got 3 touches..3 days in a row..not that much info to process..unless they ran all the checks and balances on our application. If we had only gotten one touch..then I wouldn't be feeling so froggy about it. But HEYY..it's the USA..ya never know. lol
