Wow Kim using nice words here WHAT A MESSUP!!!... Once you're complete I would send a letter off to someone regarding this. Its not the way to do business and is inexcusable after all the time they take doing things. Just do this after you get what you want. In the mean time, you can start prepare the draft on what you will be sending. Or if you chose you can just for get it . I have a hard time doing that. :devil:

That's why I maintained my composure and forced myself not to react. If there's a black propaganda my local field office has for me, good luck with them! I'm not gonna let my husband's petition get affected by this, flag his case (if they can do that), and ruin everything for us. But honestly, I don't get it. I'm a good resident, I pay my taxes (and they take almost half of my paychecks), I'm in a good profession (nursing), and I've never been rude or seemed upset dealing with the government. Oh well. Maybe He's got a better plan for me and my family that's why these are happening.... :thumbs:

yesterday a VJ member who's final dox were AVR-ed at NVC on the 21st of Sep got a "regular" SIF sooo I definitely see urs coming! FINGERS CROSSED!!! :innocent:

How did you get it, Loto? Did you speak to a human or did you get it via the AVR with your EAC receipt number? I tried yesterday thru the AVR but as of 4 pm, they still had no record of it.

Ladynthetramp you got a SIF because you requested an expedite. The request to expedite has been sent to the USEM but has not been approved by them yet. NVC does not allow any payments on the payment portal when an expedite is pending thats why you got SIF.

Your expedite will be approved or denied by the USEM in the beneficiaries country.

I am positive of this as I am in the same boat and confirmed the process with NVC on Friday.

When the request to expedite is sent to the USEM by NVC the NVC issues SIF on the payment portal even if the request has not been approved yet. So you could have SIF but no approval of expedite yet. The SIF means nothing at this point untill the request to expedite has been approved or denied by the USEM.

Yes we got SIF but it doesnt mean much untill the expedite is approved and the file sent to the USEM. The SIF is just part of the process to expedite. I should know if mine was approved in about a week I guess. Monday is a holiday so thats a day lost.

In your case YES the file has been sent per the AVR and NVC confirmed with you that your expedite was approved correct if so your good to go girl dont worry.

How long did it take in your case from the time you sent request to the time of confirmation that it was approved? It really depends on the USEM I,m guessing if there fast at getting there email or slow like the rest of this process. hahaha.

alright, i see i see! honestly i saw your timeline a day ago i think n i was wonderin how u got a SIF so fast! so good thing i did with sendin the docs to NVC! that way if the expedite gets refused i wouldnt have waisted anytime! I wonder when they would approve!
