Dhaka Embassy's interview checklist is so friggin' confusing. It ask to bring original's of everything. Well, NVC has original. And it should forward them craps to embassy. The check list says bring AOS. But NVC already has AOS. Then it asks to bring IV. But NVC already has IV. Both will be forwarded to embassy. It lists to bring police certificate, etc. It's like almost a DCF list.

It also asks to fill out the additional processing questionnaire. But what are those?

It is same for our Consulate too. That's a generic one intended to DCF filers.

Additional Processing Questionnaire - No idea. But it could include Social Security Information sheet, Domicile information sheet etc.

That's good to know, MB. This is very specific to the Consulate.

CC is correct, MB.

I haven't done much research on your consulate. But I think it is same like Indian Consulates. Then you have all the chances of late Jan interview

If you visit your country specific forum for recent interviews and their timeline of NVC CC, you'll get a better picture and projection for the interview.

I have done some research on Dhaka USEM Bangladesh, a projecting time to get an interview at least 2 months from CC. I am assuiming interview will be on either first week of FEB'11 or mid week of FEB'11 latest.

Dhaka USEM is facing a overloading of 6000 DV lottery winners which they haven't finish yet.

I also checked DHL tracking how many packet has been sent out to Dhaka USEM which was only 11 pckt in the month of November so far (1/4 of India or Phillipines).

Good job, yaar. I filled out the questionnaire form. I will mail multiple copies of this to my wife when I send her all the inteview package. I need to ask her abou ther brother's birth day so I can fill that in. I wonder if I should answer these in complete sentences or just in phrases.

I think those 6,000 DV cases killing other interviews - 2 months are little longer, but not really bad.

Yes, then you will be pushed in to Feb.

Same here for the US Embassy in Manila. My wife already have all that in her possession.

For anyone who will be going through the Manila Embassy - there are a few changes.

Here is an example of one change - as of tomorrow, December 1, 2010, if you interview have not yet been scheduled through NVC, you can call and set an appointment. They will tell you the available/open dates.

Yes you could write in phrase, but I drew a table in word format & specify name, relation, DOB, etc.. for sibblings info & rest of i kept in phrase. My friend also said, I could delete Bangla word, just keep in english word as well. Embassy will accept English version only.

I could fit everything in the form (leaving everything intact.) I just used the same size font as the form. I love Foxit PDF editor. It's so amazing. And it's free. But I get your point. My wife only lived in one address. So I don't need additional papers or anything. -

Chennai U.S Consulate has 25 immigrant visa interviews on Dec 2, 2010.

Out of 4 Consulates and 1 Embassy in India, 3 of them process the immigrant visa - Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai.
