Thanks but that's not going to happen. My P4 package is going to take at least 8 weeks. It will take the maximum possible amount of time just like everything else has. There's no going around this fact.

It could be worse. At least be thankful you didn t get a RFE..

General guideline.

First 2 weeks - NVC Case# receipt, Email registration, IIN receipt, DS-3032 emailing, AOS and IV payment, AOS and IV package delivery

Second 2 weeks - AOS and IV package entering into the system

Third 2 weeks - AOS and IV package review, SIF and CC

You are in the half of 3rd week.

NVC did some work yesterday since IS & sventak got their CC. AVRS still playing same message for me as check list received on 11/23. Dont you think, They already added my photograph into IV packet since they have received mail on 11/24?

11-18-2010: IV package & AOS package received by NVC

11-21-2010: Photograph sent out from Bangladesh Via DHL.

11-22-2010: Checklist Letter sent Per AVRS.

11-24-2010: Photograph received by NVC signed for by J. Desmond

11-26-2010: Checklist Letter received on 11/23 as per AVRS.

12-XX-2010: SIF

12-XX-2010: CASE COMPLETED

Your both packages received on 11/18.

As a general statistics:

First 2 weeks - initial phase upto both packages delivery

Second 2 weeks - packages entry into the system

Third 2 weeks - review, SIF and CC

Check list received means you're done the second 2 weeks and entered in the last 2 weeks stage.

Photograph attachment in to your case file may not drag much. Because this review phase, they will have it. I would say you should be done in another 10 days.

But earlier is the better

Bottom line: If we say reality, people will dislike us whereas if we say you will be done tomorrow, people will like us

CC is correct, MB.

I haven't done much research on your consulate. But I think it is same like Indian Consulates. Then you have all the chances of late Jan interview

If you visit your country specific forum for recent interviews and their timeline of NVC CC, you'll get a better picture and projection for the interview.

Dhaka Embassy's interview checklist is so friggin' confusing. It ask to bring original's of everything. Well, NVC has original. And it should forward them craps to embassy. The check list says bring AOS. But NVC already has AOS. Then it asks to bring IV. But NVC already has IV. Both will be forwarded to embassy. It lists to bring police certificate, etc. It's like almost a DCF list.

It also asks to fill out the additional processing questionnaire. But what are those?
