Looks like a big "no" to my request :(

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Unfortunately, the document about which you have inquired has not yet been received. Please allow 10-15 business days for the document to be matched to the case.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

Sincerely,

Lowell

Asad,

This is what I am telling everybody.

Even if, your package is delivered to NVC, it is sitting in their mail room for few days. They have to enter it in the system first to get any update (even from Sue too). So, wait for few days and send the email to check.

I just got a generic response from NVC. I spent dozens of minutes crafting my beautiful email and formatting it with at least 3 different kinds of font (Georgia, Comic Sans MS, and Verdana) and just as many font sizes. Not to mention appropriate phrases were embolden and italicized properly. And what do I get? I get a quick response with only Arial font. The email wasn't even formatted like a professional business letter. This is an insult. I guess emailing Supervisor Sue only garners a response. If nothing else. But the email didn't tell me anything substantial. Below is what I got. It only took 7 hours and 42 minutes to get a response.

Hi all,

How do you know that your AOS and VI packages have been entered into NVC's system?

Well as far as i know you'd know through AVR's message but those messages seem puzzling mostly, so i'd just talk to an operator and they'd tell me, like Loto said before they'd know if the packages were entered or not, Reviewed or not, etc :) Goodluck
