She was from Columbia. Normal path guys who completed NVC long time back are still waiting for interview. It takes 3 months for them to get the interview date.

She expedited (based on pregnancy) and got interview in few weeks time and interview was successful last week!

what should I do next? :blush:

I called the NVC this morning and they confirmed that my case was sent the 26th. I called the DOS and they said the same. I checked DHL tracking and found a package that was picked up at the NVC on the 24th and sent out on the 26th to Paris .. it was delivered this afternoon. I assume that was mine. right? wrong?

Now should I call/email the embassy tomorrow or do I wait for them to contact my husband?

have been contacting NVC, embassy, USCIS, and DoS daily, as of 12/15 our case is in no one's system. waiting for answers..

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

HoustonApollo, Now you or your husband emailing or keep calling them - "hey, what's up? How's our expedited process? When is the interview date? Please email me the interview date. Please mail the packet4." etc. Do it as a daily dose to them, as I did.

I started harassing them as soon as the packet was received at the Consulate. I got 2 emails from them.

First one - "Sir, we don't have your packet and please check back after 2 or 3 business days."

Second one - "Sir, I am reminding you again what is happening?" Reply - "Yes, your interview is scheduled on 12/02/2010"

Basically, I got interview date in 4 days after they received the packet.

Nepal is also not a busy consulate. You have 99% for a Jan interview.

Yes, that's true Loto. The Diversity Visa interviewing period ended September 30 so I think our Embassy is not busy these days based on this fact too. Lets see If I can make it for Jan Interview. Thanks.
